Gaddesden Row is a quiet hamlet and there are lots of cycling and country walking routes nearby. It is close to many National Trust properties including Ashridge Forest and Ivinghoe Beacon.
The cottage is within easy reach of Berkhamsted, St. Albans and London, and is just a twenty minute drive from Luton Airport. Itâs also a short drive to Harry Potter World.

On the second floor is the lovely attic twin bedroom with the best view in the house.
Stair gates, a cot and high chair are available upon request.
We have lived in the area for over thirty years(itâs so beautiful we never want to leave) so do not hesitate to ask us anything.
We enjoyed our stay at wonderful Bumblebee Cottage. Everything was there - very well equiped - we missed nothing. We had a very warm welcome with little gifts ;-) We loved the beautiful surrounding. Everything was perfect for our family of four and our two dogs.
A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes.
Lovely terraced property, well appointed and stocked and adequate space for 5. We especially enjoyed the visit for the horses in the field at the back of the house. Great location for exploring and easy access to London. Parking is difficult, although with some creativity we always managed to find a space.
A beautifully quant cottage, with all the facilities needed for a lovely family Easter visit. Amazing countryside location, quiet yet near facilities of Berkhamstead, Tring and Hemel Hempstead. BumbleBee Cottage is compact but never felt small - even when hosting Easter Sunday roast for parents. Bedrooms lovely and comfortable. Weâll themed throughout - can you spot all of them?
Oldie worldie country cottage. Comfotable beds and plenty of towels and other toiletries etc. Everything you needed was there. Wifi and TV good reception. Lovely exterior view over field with horses, deer and plenty of birdlife. If you have more than one car parking may be an issue.
Finding this gem is a bit of a challenge, especially for a new-to-England-driver, but the accommodation is nice, well-outfitted, very clean and comfortable on all counts. It was really nice to be a bit removed from the city / town and a great place for a retreat.
