Four Oaks Apartment is a modern, self-contained 2-bedroom apartment in the peaceful village of Cargo, just outside Carlisle. Sleeping up to 4 guests, it is ideal for a small family, a couple, or a quiet break with friends.
The apartment has its own private garden, patio, hot tub, barbecue area, and parking, giving you a comfortable and private space to relax during your stay. It is part of Four Oaks Estate, but has its own independent entrance and outdoor area for your sole use.
Inside, the apartment has a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is well equipped for everyday cooking, with an oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, extractor fan, and a range of kitchenware. The dining area seats 4 guests, while the cosy living space includes comfortable seating, a feature fireplace, board games, a Smart TV, and DVD player.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a bunk bed, making it especially suitable for families with children. There is a shared bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, toilet, and vanity unit, plus an additional separate toilet off the hallway.
Outside, guests can enjoy the private patio and garden, with outdoor furniture and a coal barbecue for relaxed evenings after a day exploring the area. The private hot tub adds an extra touch of comfort, whether you are planning a quiet weekend away or a longer countryside break.
Cargo is a small village surrounded by countryside and close to the River Eden. Lovely walks can be enjoyed straight from the apartment, including routes towards the neighbouring village of Rockcliffe. Carlisle is only around a 5-minute drive away, with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and city attractions nearby.
The location is also well placed for exploring the wider area. Gretna Green and the Scottish border are around 10 minutes away, while Penrith, the Lake District, Hadrian’s Wall, Talkin Tarn, Carlisle Castle, and the Solway Coast are all within easy reach by car.
