Belle maison rénovée avec plage privée

DĂ©couvrez la «vieille Floride» Ă  son meilleur: une plage immaculĂ©e avec du sable blanc comme du sucre, des nids de tortues caouannes, des dauphins et des oiseaux exotiques dans votre cour avant. Marchez sur un quart de mile sur une belle promenade jusqu'au WindMark Beach Village Center. Le chalet a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©, avec une cuisine gastronomique, une grande baignoire d'angle, une tĂ©lĂ©vision Sony Bravia et entiĂšrement meublĂ©. Vous n'avez qu'Ă  apporter vos vĂȘtements! Vous pouvez pĂȘcher, marcher sur la plage ou regarder les dauphins depuis votre cour avant. Asseyez-vous sous les chĂȘnes vieux de 90 ans (Les Grandes Dames) qui ombragent la maison et observez les pics, les pygargues Ă  tĂȘte blanche et d'autres oiseaux exotiques depuis le porche grillagĂ©. Profitez des couchers de soleil rose-orange et voyez les Ă©toiles comme vous ne les avez jamais vues auparavant. Regardez la lune se coucher sur la baie.

La maison a une chambre à coucher (une deuxiÚme piÚce fait office de placard du propriétaire), une salle de bain complÚte et une salle d'eau. La chambre principale a un lit queen-size et deux placards et dispose d'une grande baignoire d'angle. L'avant de la maison est une grande piÚce, avec une table à manger pour huit personnes, un salon pour six personnes et des meubles et accessoires design.

Les équipements de cuisine comprennent un lave-vaisselle Bosch, une cuisiniÚre à combustible Jennair et un réfrigérateur avec une machine à glaçons et une fontaine extérieure.

Le plancher de cyprÚs australien s'étend dans toute la maison. Laveuse et sécheuse sont dans la buanderie à l'abri couvert.

Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas accueillir les animaux domestiques.

Mots-clĂ©s: Un bungalow sur la plage de style Floride ancienne Ă  quelques pas de la belle St. Joseph Bay. Admirez les crevettiers et les dauphins depuis la fenĂȘtre du salon et les couchers de soleil qui durent des heures. Les tortues caouannes nichent sur le sable blanc cassĂ©. Paisible et exquis.

Home Away From Home

Love coming back to the cottage and the area. The cottage is always immaculate and the location is perfect for a couples getaway. The beach in front of the cottage is gorgeous and the local dining options are numerous and varied. Always sad to leave and anxious to come back next year.

Perfect place for a quiet weekend.

This is a great renovated cottage, perfect for a quiet weekend or week away. It's a little off the beaten path, read rural Florida, but very easy to find. The beach is across a field of sea oats, new board walk makes access a snap. The neighbourhood is secluded and very quiet.

Wonderful little cottage! It was very clean and decorated so cute. Wonderful time!

We had a great time at Alsobrook! The beach was clean and not crowded at all ! Mexico beach was only 2 miles away for those who want to ride some waves. We did go out in the kayak and had a great time ! Thank you for a memorable trip!

Love this cottage !

This is our 3rd year coming to Port St Joe and we always have a great time.The walk way to the beach is a great improvement.The only thing I can think of that would make our stay better would be a sports channel.

The cottage was exactly what the wife and I needed.

Perfect location! Far enough off the main drag but very close to anything you need. The screened porch was awesome for big free sunsets. The beach was very PRIVATE and beautiful. I enjoyed catching a variety of fish from the beach and the kayak there for our use. Would deff recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful beach getaway.

Clean, well-equipped and perfect location!

The house is in the perfect spot. The proximity to the beach was just across the street. We saw dolphins swim by one morning and there are lots of sea shells. We loved strolling down and shopping on Main Street. The House had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was sooo comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful sanctuary

Due to the pandemic, we were looking for a private location with beach access and this did not disappoint. Cottage was very well equipped with everything you could need and the setting was idyllic. Often we felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. Loved sitting out in the screened-in porch watching the sunset each and every evening.

Charming FLA Cottage Steps from Beach!

We loved the location of this property just across from Windmark Beach. This house is perfect size for a couple and I loved all the windows and the screened porch to watch all the birds and sunsets. We so enjoyed watching and hearing the owl family in the pines that are beside the house. We did have one issue with the bed which was solved, but otherwise we loved our 2 wk stay.

Perfect cottage for two!

It was all we expected and more! Sunsets were awesome to watch from the porch. The cottage had everything we needed. We couldn't go into the water because of the grass and seaweed, but that's just nature.... Hope to visit again soon!!!

Mary and Bob Herdegen have family in the area and have been vacationing in nearby Mexico Beach for over 25 years. While this property is new to them, they purchased it from a family who had it in their family since 1938. The new owners hope to honor and maintain the tradition established the family and provide the same wonderful experience for their guests as did the previous owner.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

When people visit Port St. Joe, they seem to leave a part of their heart is, quite simply, a very special part of the world. Maybe it is the authenticity of the town. Maybe the Southern hospitality. Maybe the amazing shrimp, oysters, and fresh-caught fish. The historic Cape San Blas Lighthouse was "rescued" from imminent loss along the Gulf and now stands proud and protected in the City limits along St. Joe Bay. A full-moon climb will never be forgotten.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Some favorite things to do are to walk the beach, which takes an entirely different feel at different times of the day. At night, take a flashlight on the beach and see thousands or thousands of "ghost" crabs scurrying around the sand; it looks like a far-away planet! Sit on the porch and watch the dolphins swim by. The seafood is amazing, and you can buy shrimp and oysters that were taken out of the water the night before. If you think you do not like oysters, you have never tried an Apalachicola oyster! Sleep with the windows open to hear the din of insect noises and to watch the fireflies from the bedroom window. The board walk to WindMark Beach Village Center is beautifully landscaped, and the Village Center has some amenities worth exploring. If you are inclined to pursue other outdoor adventures, less than 30 minutes away you can enjoy Off the Map Expeditions kayak tour of the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka and the Estuary Tour of the Apalachicola River. Both are a must-see!
