The Space:

This grand country home offers generous space throughout, making it ideal for large groups and family stays. Inside, you’ll find multiple living areas perfect for relaxing, socialising or unwinding after a day exploring the Dales.



The property features a range of comfortable bedrooms, thoughtfully set up to suit groups of all sizes, alongside well-appointed bathrooms. The spacious kitchen and dining areas provide everything needed to enjoy meals together, whether it’s a relaxed breakfast or a group dinner.



Set within beautiful countryside surroundings, the home combines character with comfort, offering a peaceful and private setting while still being close to local walks and attractions.



We have a boot room (named as the laundry room on Airbnb), this has a washer machine and dryer. It also connects to a wet room with a shower on the ground floor.



The pantry adds more work space and grocery storage with fridge, freezer space and another kitchen sink.

While you're staying with us why not book an Alpaca Trekking experience at our Hazel Brow Farm Visitor Centre located below the House in the bottom of the dale. We also have a 'Meet and Feed' experience with other animals on the farm and a 'Nature Trail' perfect for an evenings stroll in the meadow.



Please note, the hot tub isn't kept at the property, this is on rental basis only, once booked, please let us know if you want to book the hot tub and we'll help you arrange it with the hot tub company, the price starts from £180 per rental.



Guest Access:

Guests will be informed of the check in information 2 days before check in at 4pm via the Airbnb platform.



We have parking for upto 7 cars, there is extra parking available nearby by arrangement.

This is a peaceful, rural setting within a small countryside community, so you may notice nearby neighbours and the gentle rhythm of village life. As the property sits on a working farm, there may also be occasional farm activity, livestock and natural countryside sounds.



Richmond is just a short drive away, offering a fantastic selection of independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, as well as historic attractions including Richmond Castle and the Georgian Theatre Royal. The surrounding villages of Swaledale also offer charming country pubs and scenic spots to stop and unwind.



Whether you're here for walking, relaxing or exploring the Dales, this location offers a true countryside escape.



Getting Around:

Due to the rural location in Swaledale, we strongly recommend having a car to make the most of your stay. This will give you the flexibility to explore the Yorkshire Dales, visit nearby villages and enjoy local pubs, walks and attractions at your own pace.



There are limited public transport options in the area, with occasional bus routes connecting to Richmond and surrounding villages, but services can be infrequent.



The property offers convenient on-site parking, making it easy to come and go as you please. Scenic drives are a highlight here, with beautiful routes right from your doorstep.
