À propos de cet hébergement
Lovingly renovated barn near the Lon Goed | Llwyn-Y-Forwyn
Located in a rural part of the Pen Llŷn (Llŷn Peninsula), Llwyn y Forwyn is a lovingly renovated barn near the Lôn Goed, perfect for small families and couples. This single storey renovation includes two bedrooms and a fabulous and private outdoor space with wood heated hot tub. For guests that enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, woodland walks and exploring the coastline, Llwyn y Forwyn is the ideal destination.
A private gravelled driveway leads to the property's front door, opening into the hallway. To the left, a bright and airy lounge shows off the barn structure with exposed wooden beams in the eaves of the building. Velux windows and a glazed door into the garden allow light to flood in to this cosy space. A pair of two seater leather sofas are positioned in an L shape around a thick rug, facing a cosy log burner installed on a slate hearth in the corner of the room. A large Smart TV is located on the wall about a gorgeous wooden side unit. Passing through the hallway, the kitchen diner is well equipped for guests self catering needs. The kitchen units are of traditional farmhouse style with a modern touch, finished in a neutral stone colour with a white granite effect worktop. A large fridge freezer with water dispenser is located in the corner of the kitchen, and there is a built in dishwasher along with oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. A four seating farmhouse dining table sits in the centre of the space, the chairs painted in pastel shades.
From the kitchen, a further corridor leads to the lovingly renovated barn near the Lôn Goed's two bedrooms. The main bedroom, a cosy double includes a wooden framed bed with rustic wooden bedside cabinets and table lamps. To the opposite end of the room, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers of the same style are situated alongside a wall mounted TV. The bedding, in neutral colours and a chequered pattern, complements the furniture nicely. The second bedroom, ideal for children, includes a set of dark wooden bunks in same style as the bedroom furniture. A chest of drawers with open shelving is located next to the bunks, along with a table lamp for subtle lighting. The bedroom windows both feature thick blinds in a Welsh blanket pattern. Completing Llwyn y Forwyn's layout is a bathroom between the lounge and kitchen. Wood strip flooring is laid to the floor and classic white wall tiles give the room a stylish feel. A bath is installed to one side with shower head over, next to a WC and basin unit with storage under.
We’re happy to welcome 2 well-behaved dogs. Please keep them supervised at all times and don’t leave them unattended. To keep the space comfy for everyone, we kindly ask that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
Feel free to bring their favourite bed, blanket, and anything else to make them feel at home! To keep your furry companions safe, we recommend not leaving them unattended in the garden and always keeping a watchful eye on them during their outdoor adventures. Please make sure to clean up after your dogs in the garden and surrounding areas.
The wood burning hot tub is very much a "hands on experience" as it isn't the electric instant switch-on kind. On arrival, you will need to fill the hot tub with fresh water, then light the wood burner and wait for it to heat up. You do have to make sure you make a roaring fire and during the colder winter months, this needs to be done a few hours ahead of using of the hot tub.
One Travel Cot and Highchair on request (cot-linen not provided).
8 minutes drive to a beach.
