Avoid this property at all costs. We stayed during the highest recorded temperature days in the UK. Not only did our host forget to text us the code to get in, there was no air conditioner and not a single fan in the entire unit. We waited outside, in record breaking heat and my husband had to call and email multiple times to get the code to get in. The house didnt have a single fan which blows my mind. We had ten people, some ended up sleeping on the floor due to the heat. Some were putting wet towels on themselves to sleep. It really was a nightmare. I understand the UK and "no need for air conditioning etc....but goodness gracious buy a few fans if you are a VRBO host. How incredibly ridiculous that we had to have a miserable stay in England due to the penny pinching of this host. They certainly knew the forecast and that we were coming from a different CONTINENT yet no hospitality or concern for their neighbor was shown.
