The Space:

Coldbeck Cottage, a delightful holiday cottage over three floors, consists of a kitchen/diner with dining seating, electric oven and hob, fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washer, kettle, and toaster, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor king-size, double, and bunk. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, and basin and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear patio with furniture and coal barbecue, and off-road parking available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. A stay at Coldbeck Cottage promises to be one to remember. Note: Mind your head for the low-hanging beam in the 2nd-floor bedroom. Note: Charcoal is not included for the barbecue.

The old market town of Kirkby Stephen lies at the foot of the Howgill Fells in the upper Eden Valley, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Enjoy many excellent walks and cycle routes nearby, particularly the route of the old Darlington to Tebay train line over two magnificent viaducts, and visit the gothic gorge where the River Eden flows through wooded Stenkrith park.
