Villa Karga (4 bedroom villa)

Villa Karga is contemporary style, incorporating a mixture of stone and concrete with light surfaces, large windows and sliding doors, steel and wooden floors. High-quality materials, aesthetic interior design, distinctively furnished with luxury in mind.

Entering this villa you will experience the breath-taking view overlooking the pool area, the village, the White Mountains and the blue sea. Sliding doors leads you out to a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evenings.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the ground floor. All the bedrooms have its own ensuite bathrooms with bathtub and a furnished veranda or terrace. Spacious wardrobes, safe box, dressing table and Satellite TV in all bedrooms.

On the ground floor, it is a large living area with fireplace and an open and spacious kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances and a large dining table with ample room for eight persons. From the kitchen, you have access to an intimate backyard/garden with barbecue and a big dining table.

The tiled pool area with sunbeds, umbrella and sitting areas where you can enjoy the view and swim in your private pool (45 m2), is perfectly incorporated with the house.

In the basement, you will find a well-equipped gym and another big bathroom with hamam (steam bath). A private little “wellness center”..... perfect for recreation!

Fantastic Villa and location

Property is beautiful and suited our needs perfectly, with great pool / outdoor area, amenities at the Villa were great for family nights in and giving everyone (3 teenagers and 1 pre teen plus adults) enough space The Turkish bath was lovely and the gym well equipped . Thank you

Fabulous villa six star fully equiped beautifully furnished in a an idylic location

What a wonderful relaxing holiday in a superb villa with all mod cons, the villa is serviced twice a week by unobtrusive staff with fresh linen and towels, the villa sits on top of a hill with superb views over the bay. A short walk 5 minute to the village where there are shops, a deli a good choice of restaurants and bars modestly priced. We ate out every night and all the meals were good with a relaxed service, the first holiday I have had where I would go back again.

Amazing property and views

We stayed at this property for 7 days with our family. We had a few glitches upon check in but property manager was very responsive and handled right away. It property was immaculate with great attention to detail and design. Best beds for comfortable sleep!! We very much enjoyed the location walking distance from Almyrida beach and all amenities. Highly recommend and will stay here again upon our return

Stunning Villa

We had a fabulous time at Villa Karga. The property is beautiful with huge windows and spectacular sea views. Almyrida is lovely and all the shops and restaurants are a short walk from the villa (the return walk is steeply uphill though so anyone with mobility difficulties might struggle) We didn't mind though as it gave us a chance to work off some of the delicious food we ate down in the village! The owner was so helpful in the run up to our stay, booking airport transfers and suggesting lots of great excursions. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough - 10/10!

Loved the moden, comfortable, spacious and very conveniently located home.

Our stay was comprised of a family reunion of three households. We were nine people including three kids. Villa Karga was the perfect size for us giving us ample opportunity to eat breakfast, dine or hang out at the pool together while being able to give each other space when needed. Upon arrival we were greeted by Natasa who is wondersfully pleasant and organized. We arrived about six hours late due to flight delays yet Natasa showed up after midnight to get us settled- very much appreciated. We enjoyed the walking distance to the beach which gave all family members flexibility to structure activities based on their needs and preferences. Overall great experience and stay. Thank you!

Stunning villa in Almyrida

This is a beautiful villa with stunning views out to sea. The communication with Maja the owner was fantastic and we really appreciated her support when we had to reschedule our holiday for medical reasons and because of Covid. She is quick to respond and always gives very helpful information. Roula met us on arrival and was very helpful, always responding to messages very promptly. The gym was one of the reasons we chose this property and it was really well equipped, we made good use of it. The pool was equally amazing. All bedrooms were gorgeous. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to visit again sometime. Thank you!

Wow!

I am not sure how to accurately express what a wonderful property this is. My husband and two teenaged sons stayed here for a full week. The property is exquisite and every detail is considered. The property manager is always available and the town is adorable. We loved the gym. I have two sons who work out regularly and they were not missing anything. The steam room is a huge luxury and it feels like a spa! The location and view is stunning from every window. Crete is glorious. We loved being in this part of the island. It has a ton of great adventures. Definitely take the boat tour with the local boat company in Almyrida at the bottom of the hill. It gave us a great way to get acclimated on our first day. Many of the restaurants right in town are wonderful. Elia and Thyme is outstanding. We loved the property so much that some days we simply opted to stay there all day, which is totally out of character for us! It was so calming and complete. Thank you to the entire crew.

Villa Karga is the most beautiful villa with outstanding views. Would recommend to anyone.

As a family of 6 we stayed in Villa Karga for 2 weeks at the beginning of August 2017. Our friends stayed in Villa Nova for our first week and this worked perfectly with the interconnecting gate. On arrival we were greeted by Natasa who was so friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the beautiful villa and had also bought us the grocery items we had requested. It was so nice to know Natasa was nearby and she was incredibly kind and helpful when we needed to see a doctor with one of the children, we couldn't have asked for better service. The villa was equipped with everything we needed, was immaculate, very tastefully decorated and had the most beautiful views, it exceeded our expectations. Also on our request a table had been booked at the beautiful Elia and Thyme restaurant for our first evening. Along with the other restaurants, supermarkets and beach this was a short walk from the villa and became one of our favourite places to eat and on a couple of occasions we also had a takeaway delivered from there. Almyrida is the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday, with a lovely selection of restaurants and beautiful beach and both Villa Karga and Villa Nova are the most beautiful villas that made our stay perfect.

Probably the best rental we've ever had

I've rented many times in different countries from VRBO, HomeAway, and other similar sites, as well as with travel agents, property managers and other third party organizations I can say without any hesitation that not only is Villa Karga one of the finest properties we've every rented, but it is unique in a category of being underrepresented in the photos and descriptions. Pictures cannot convey the true beauty of the location, or the luxury, cleanliness, and completeness of the accommodations. To further complete the exceptional nature of this property, add in the owner, and her on-site representative, and you have an experience that is unlikely to be duplicated. The communications before, during, and after the booking were wonderful. Roula (the local manager) met us at the property at 1 AM! on our arrival, and was constantly in communication with us by phone and txt during our stay, addressing any little things that we needed, or providing exceptional local knowledge to help us navigate the country and arrange for the best possible vacation. Maja, the owner went out of her way to send information about tours, locations, and enterprises that we might want to consider during the planning phases of our journey, and even though Roula was in constant contact with us, Maja checked in as well to make sure everything was ok. The property itself was spacious, and as previously noted furnished elegantly with all necessary accoutrements provided. The kitchen was very well stocked - of course all necessary implements were there, and a wide variety of appliances as well (great coffee maker, with coffee provided, Juicer!, etc) - but even spices, and paper + cleaning supplies were provided. The bedrooms all had extremely comfortable mattresses, with more pillows than could be used - plenty of closet space, with ample hangers, and soaps, shampoos, and lotions were stocked in every bathroom (each bedroom had its own bathroom plus extra bathroom downstairs); there were more towels than we could possible use, included specific blue full size ones for the pool - and 2 bathrobes were in every bathroom, with extras downstairs.. The pool area was incredible for relaxing at any time of day - plenty of comfortable sitting chairs and tables for al fresco dining, as well loungers for sunning. The views over the bay were breathtaking - dramatic sunsets, and gorgeous vistas out to the distant mountains. Don't even think twice - rent this!
