This is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, including sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and scuba diving. Beadnell is renowned as a holiday destination and offers local facilities including a village shop and pub serving good food. Just 1-mile up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips, depart regularly from its harbour, to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony.

Horse riding, fishing, and golf on the links close, by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location. A further 2 miles up the coastline is the picture-perfect village of Bamburgh, famous for its majestic fortress and Grace Darling Museum.
