I always appreciate feed back positive or negative. The matresses in both the guest and master bedroom are 1 year old and are from matress firm top end matresses and new box springs as well. I will be staying there next month so will definately spend a night sleeping in the guest bedroom. I have not had any negative comments on the matresses. But glad everything else was spectacular for you.

Aloha Dianna, We are pleased you had a great stay, I suppose you did, as you left a 5 star review. Yes we do provide a small starter set of conditioner shampoo and bath bar. This is mostly for those that may forget their own until they can pick up some here at one of the conveniece stores. As a matter of fact I have purchase soap dispensing systems for each shower with the above products, however the shipment was delayed last May when I was on island. They will be installed this October when I am back. Also more importantly I have purchased new living room furniture including a queen leather sleeper couch, a loveseat and recliner with massage features... Also there is a bench that will be at the front door to sit and put on shoes ect. There is also new artwork that will be hung up, This is part of my upgrade plan to move from an oriental theme to beachy theme. I hope you and your family will return one day. We are pleased that you and your family had a great vacation. You mentioned the beach out front of the condo complex... I wanted to address this since it is a frequently asked question. There has been a beach erosion issue in Kahana. There are 9 condo complexes that are directly affected. We have come together as a cohesive group to address this problem. We hired a marine geology firm to help make suggestions as to the best way to proceed to prevent beach erosion. The marine geology firm recommended that we install a revetment project that spans the length of the beach front in a manner that is not interupted at the border of each property line. We have done that with a system for stacking sandbags that has native sand contained in each bag. The bags are in a straight line so no surf gets in and around at the property lines of each of the individual condo complexes. This design has produced an amazing result... The beach is getting larger rather than smaller. The beach access has been open since May and will remain open as long as winter storms do not erode it again. Next there is an environmental impact study under way to possibly dredge the sand that has been eroded and deposited on the reef out front back to the shoreline. This is a future endeavor, but alas all things move along on Hawaiian time, and so we continue to wait for the report. We hope this helps to clarify the beach erosion and access issues. Aloha Emellia, We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at our little slice of paradise. Amazing views are what is so spectacular and relaxing about the condo. There is abundant sealife in the ocean below. The lanai is so close that one could toss a rock into it. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing and stunning sunsets are soothing beyond imagination.
