"Step to The Sea 5" a newly renovated studio with sea view fully furnished and equipped to make you feel at home. This cozy little space is inserted in building extremely well located not only for being so close to the sea, but also for having several facilities in the surroundings without needing a car.

Our studio is located on the 5th floor and the access can be done by elevator or stairs. It offers a private balcony with sea view suitable for two.
For the moments of rest our guests can count on a bed of 160 X200.

Funchal's city center is 45 minutes away on foot. If you need a taxi or bus to get around, both can be found approximately 500m distance. The nearest supermarket can be found in Fórum Madeira Shopping Center that is also 500m away.

Although we advertise that free parking is available at the condo, it is subject to availability. If necessary, there are also paid parking places located 200m distance "Estacionamento Tecnoparque"

The swimming pool is out of service for an indefinite period. However, the sunbathing area can still be used. If the weather invites you for a swim, just across the road you’ll find Ponta Gorda bathing complex, which features a swimming pool, direct access to the sea, a bar, and other facilities. From the building to the main road (Monumental road) is approximately 180m uphill.

48H before arrival, self check-in instructions and codes will become available.

This year, probably due to climate change, we´ve noticed a higher mosquito presence.
At very first, we used to provide repellent, but several guests took it with them for their next stay, making it unsustainable for us. Therefore, we recommend our guets to bring their own repellent according to sensitivity and needs.

Information for SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service) should be sent when requested.

NEVER leave the key in the lock on the inside of the door. If the door closes accidentally, it will no longer be possible to open it with another key. In this case, a service must be requested at the guest's expense.

Each set of lost keys will incur a fee of 25€. In the event that parking card is also lost, an additional charge of 30€ will be applied.

People who are not part of the reservation are not allowed in the house without the permission of the host.

Upon check-in, if you notice any broken or damaged appliances or facilities, please promptly notify us, including a photo if possible.

Keep the apartment clean and tidy and take good care of the furniture and equipment.

After a hike in the mountains, please check if your shoes are in condition to get into the apartment.

Please switch off the lights when not in use.

Before check-out, rubbish should be deposited in the respective bins located outisde the building near the parking place.
