￫ Building
The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator, but the view, and specially the light, are really worth the climb. Please note that the stairs are narrow. It is ideal for couples or small families looking for a stay in Lisbon with all the city's main attractions within walking distance.
The building has the characteristics typical of old buildings in the area, such as poor soundproofing. Santos is also a very lively area, with traffic, so noise is to be expected.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm) and the other with a single bed convertible in two (80 cm x 200 cm).

￫ Bathroom
The apartment has a bathroom with a shower.

￫ Living room
The living room has a large and comfortable sofa-bed, with lots of natural light from the french windows and a dining table for 4 people.

For your comfort and flexibility, our Hospitality Team will provide a self-check-in at the property. A code will be informed to open the lockbox and collect the keys. To avoid any delays, please inform us your flight number and the estimated time of arrival at the apartment with at least 48 hours in advance. The information we’re requesting is very important for us to coordinate our team and to provide you the best welcoming experience. Without that information we cannot guarantee you a prompt check-in, so your cooperation is very important.

Santos is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Lisbon: after all, it’s full name is Santos-O-Velho, meaning “Santos, the old”. Santos’s palaces and old churches have centuries but are very well maintained, and so are the old, narrow streets that criss-cross this part of town. Because of all this historical importance, no place in the city would be better than this to set up the Museu de Art Antiga (our Museum of Ancient Art), one of the best curated historical museums in Lisbon.
Santos is a neighbourhood of grand mansions, just like the residential Lapa district up the hill. It was here that many aristocrats and noble families lived in the 18th century, and many of their homes have now been turned into hotels and embassies.
Behind Largo de Santos (Santos Square) are the narrow streets of the tiny and picturesque neighborhood of Madragoa, which, together with Alfama, was home to Lisbon's fishwives and fishing community. Today it's a neighborhood known for its traditional taverns and "petiscos" (tapas) restaurants, and for its many tiled facades.

If you're arriving by plane from Aeroporto de Lisboa, there's some options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The cheapest is by far the subway, with a 35-40 minutes ride. The closest subway station (Cais do Sodré) is within a 20 minute walking distance from the apartment.

￫ Bus
If you don't want to walk, you can get the Metro at the Airport until Saldanha station and take the (727) bus that will take you to just few meters away from the apartment.

￫ Cars
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get in the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, please contact us so we can provide a Transfer service to pick you up at the airport (subject to an extra cost).

Please note that there is no free parking in the area.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis - replacements or re-fills are not provided. All other items must be acquired by the guest.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 15:00. Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
￫ Construction works are taking place next to the building, with no timetable for construction.
