When it’s time to unwind after dinner, head upstairs where a delightful lounge space awaits with superb views over Fowey and its glistening waters. Relax here in front of the Smart TV, and when it’s time for bed, choose from two welcoming bedrooms - one on the ground floor, one on the first floor. The ground-floor bedroom boasts a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room, while upstairs awaits a peaceful twin room which is served by a separate shower room that completes the interior. Outside, with a glass of something special, savour the stunning views overlooking the town from the idyllic garden, set over two levels, accessed from the steps leading down to the front or from the terrace at the rear.

The charming fishing town of Fowey boasts harbourside restaurants serving the daily catch, fabulous local shops and some beautiful seaside scenery, famous as the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame’s ‘The Wind in the Willows’. Explore St Catherine’s Castle (1 mile) to be rewarded with superb views across the Fowey Estuary or acquaint yourself with the local area by sailing the river via the car ferry to uncover the breathtaking charm of the fishing villages of Looe (12 miles) and Polperro (7 miles).
