Set with four other exclusive retreats in the scenic grounds of an old rectory in North Tamerton, 12 miles from Bude, it has a winter-warming wood burner and charming private garden. Guests are also welcome to explore the wider, shared grounds, where there is a play area and orchard.


Step inside to find colourful accommodation with a creative feel. The heart of this holiday home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can fire up the wood burner, watch a film on the Smart TV or simply listen to music and chat. There are also French doors in here that can be thrown open to the garden on summer days. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you are likely to need to help you whip up hearty feasts with the Cornwall and Devon produce you have sourced. The large table is just perfect for your lively holiday meals. One of your bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room, is also downstairs, together with a family shower room. An emperor-size bedroom, a twin and a bunk bedroom are up on the first floor, along with a family bathroom. Take three steps down to the stone patio to dine in the fresh air. Watch any children or four-legged friends play on the grass or take them off to explore the surrounding grounds. There is private parking here for two cars.


Lace up your walking boots and follow a section of the Tamara Coast to Coast Way, which passes within 400 metres of the cottage. Head into Bude to shop for produce or spend time on the beach at Summerleaze.
