We stayed at Riverside House for 8 days at the beginning of August and only wished we could have stayed longer! It is a fantastic house in a stunning location—by far the best holiday we’ve ever had in the UK. The listing description doesn't do it justice.The house is spacious and easily accommodated our family group of 10, with plenty of living space and enough bathrooms for everyone. The setting is incredible, directly overlooking the River Arun with breathtaking views of Arundel Castle and Cathedral. There is so much to do right on the doorstep, including wonderful local restaurants, pubs, fascinating antique shops, and nearby Littlehampton Beach.The property is extremely well-equipped. It features a large kitchen fridge plus an extra fridge-freezer in the utility room, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and everything needed to prepare elaborate meals. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors—where we had the unforgettable experience of watching the eclipse together. Parking is plentiful behind secure electric gates.Bertille was an excellent host who kept in touch while giving us total privacy. We would love to return for a longer stay next year if Bertille will have us! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
