Featuring a distinctive barrel-shaped roof and timber cladding reminiscent of times gone by, the open-plan living/kitchen/dining/sleeping layout of this characterful shepherd’s hut combines rustic charm with all your creature comforts at your fingertips. The roaring wood burner sets the scene for pure relaxation, whilst the country cottage-style decor perfectly reflects the rich heritage of your surrounding scenery; cook, unwind and dine whilst embracing everything there is to love about countryside living. The built-in raised double bed provides a haven of serenity to retire to, with the picture window at the foot of the bed framing some wonderful rural vistas. The contemporary shower room and WC are attached but are accessed externally. Make the most of your fresh, countryside air by dining alfresco on the patio in the enclosed lawned garden, catching some sublime sunsets melting over the rolling hillsides. There is ample private parking at the shepherd’s hut.

Nestled in picturesque countryside, with walks and cycle routes beginning from the doorstep, including the Pennine Way, this scenic spot is a paradise for anyone looking to explore the stunning landscapes of North Yorkshire. Known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, venture to the market town of Skipton, 7.5 miles away, to discover its impressive medieval castle before sampling some fabulous local produce from its various independent cafes, bars and restaurants. The National Trust properties of East Riddlesden Hall and Gawthorpe Hall are both within 15 miles. The pretty hamlet of Wycoller, Hardcastle Craggs and the priory ruins at Bolton Abbey are all well worth a visit and can all be reached within 20 miles.
