The ultimate country retreat awaits in the rural heart of Norfolk, just 12 miles from Thetford Forest and 14 miles from its namesake market town, Thetford. The converted barn sits on an 11-acre working farm, home to wildlife, ponds, a livery and a purpose-built dog kennel for those visiting with the company of four-pawed pals. Eight guests are invited to stay here, with large rooms and additional accessibility features making this the perfect retreat for multi-generational families. A social setting for all groups to enjoy, youâll find space both indoors and out for rest, relaxation and making long-lasting memories together.
Double-height ceilings, large rooms and large windows that flood the space with light add to the appeal of this two-storey house. Discover a welcome pack when you step into the open-plan living area, an area where lounge, kitchen and diner are combined with heating underfoot. Switch off and switch on the Smart TV, enjoying the full Sky package or the PlayStation. Thereâs also Sky TV in each of the four bedrooms, perfect for those hoping for a movie night in bed. Each of the four king-size bedrooms has its own en-suite, only one of which is accessed up a flight of stairs. Three of the bedrooms offer direct access to the garden. Here youâll find an enclosed, undisturbed space with a hot tub and fire pit for those evenings spent outdoors.
The property backs onto an impressive 18-hole golf course, so if golfing is your thing, you wonât have far to go. The countryside that surrounds the property is known as Breckland, a large area of protected space with fascinating wildlife and a host of incredible walks and cycle routes to enjoy. Plot your trip with the nearby town of Watton (1 mile) as your finishing point, enjoying a hard-earned pint or bite to eat before making your way home.
