Stay in the colourful fishing port town of Padstow and explore the northern Cornwall National Landscape with your other half and up to three canine companions. This quirky and charming two-storey cottage boasts an open-plan layout with bright interiors and coastal motifs. During your stay, you’ll have an array of seafood eateries, clifftop walking trails and picturesque bays on your doorstep.

Enter the cottage to find an airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a white-washed beamed ceiling, wooden furnishings and hues of red throughout. The carpeted lounge area contains an eye-catching exposed stone, feature fireplace and a contemporary leather sofa in front of the Smart TV. On the other side of the space is a fitted ‘U’-shaped kitchen unit with blue cabinets, wooden countertops and a breakfast bar for two. Climb the winding wooden staircase to reach an elegant white bedroom with accents of blue and pink. There is a king-size bed and a day chair in front of an exposed stone feature wall. Completing the interior is a contemporary shower room.

Instead of a garden, the property is just 200 metres from the South West Coast Path which will take you to dramatic cliff-top views of the sea. While staying in Padstow, look around the town to find an array of waterfront restaurants and cafes (within 0.5 miles). Head to the harbour (less than 0.5 miles) for boat tours of the coast or go at your own pace by hiring a bike and hitting the scenic Camel Cycle Trail (0.5 miles) along the Camel Estuary and through tranquil woodland. Put on your hiking boots and explore The Seven Bays – passing St George’s Cove (1 mile), Stepper Point (3 miles) and Trevone Natural Sea Pool (6 miles along the coastal path).
