Darlington (6.5 miles) has an array of great cafes, restaurants, pubs and boutique shops, with the popular Hopetown Visitor Centre telling the story of this lively and historic town. Other local attractions include Kiplin Hall, Raby Castle and Rockliffe Hall with its golf course and spa (all within 18 miles).
