Stay at this peaceful cottage, in the heart of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to many fine beaches and within easy reach of some of the county’s best countryside and prolific wildlife. The property is a fantastic base from which to explore. Get out on the water, with activities including sailing, kite surfing and windsurfing at nearby Beadnell Bay or, just paddle on the shoreline. Drive to Bamburgh Castle for some amazing views and Alnwick’s market town, Castle and famous gardens to create lasting memories for everyone. If you are looking for the simple bucket and spade pleasures, or the joys of a good village pub or two, you can easily walk to both.

Enter the property through the glazed door from the patio area and you will find yourselves in the spacious kitchen/diner with a large dining table where you can enjoy your meals together and sit with breakfast and a coffee while planning your days out and about. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Glazed double doors lead to the bright and airy lounge with a large corner sofa and easy chair where you can relax and watch a little TV on the TV/DVD and the flame-effect electric fire will add to the ambience. Four steps separate the main living areas from the four tastefully finished and peaceful bedrooms located off the hallway. The generous master bedroom has a king-size bed and dual aspect windows, an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC and you can unpack your things in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. A step down takes you into the second bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC, a king-size bed, a large window and plenty of storage space. There are two twin bedrooms, each with their own wardrobe and sets of drawers so you can spread out and feel at home. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, you can dine alfresco on the patio area next to the cottage. Younger members of your party will love the outdoor, enclosed children’s play area with swings, a slide, and climbing frame. Parking for one car is on the gravel driveway in front of the cottage and there is ample additional, free parking for other cars on site.
