Wander along the River Spey (4 miles), spot the Centre of Scotland Stone (25 min walk) as you soak up the calming Cairngorms atmosphere, or head to the car park at the base of the mighty Cairngorm Mountain (29 miles) to challenge yourselves with a rewarding hike. Those keen on sports at a slower pace will love Newtonmore Golf Club, just 5.5 miles away, along with the golfing practice area available on site.

On arrival, leave any outdoor gear and outerwear in the large, heated porch – a welcome sight after a walk in wet weather.
