à propos de cet hébergement
3 Bed in Llanvetherine (oc-g31918)
Immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of verdant Monmouthshire when you escape to this gorgeous, stone cottage on a 300-acre farm. Situated near Llanvetherine, 6.5 miles from Abergavenny, the three-bedroom abode is also just 3.5 miles from the fringes of Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons. Sleeping six guests, it sits within grounds that are also home to a working, 17th-century cider house and benefits from an enchanting, private garden and a roaring wood burner.
Head inside to find an abundance of impressive, character-laden features, such as flagstone floors, heavy oak beams and exposed stone walls, as well as modern touches, including underfloor heating. Amble through to the beautiful, farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to prepare delicious meals and gather around the table for shared meals. There is also a ground-floor shower room and a utility room here. The lovely lounge, a huge space with different seating areas, is superb for gathering together before the glowing wood burner to watch the Smart TV. A king-size bedroom, with access to a sunny patio, is also downstairs. Make your way up to the first floor to find a charming king-size bedroom and a lovely double, both with vaulted, beamed ceilings. A low mezzanine level in the double bedroom is home to a sofa bed. A family bathroom is also on this floor. Soak up the scenery from the beautiful, mature garden. Dine out here in the summer sun and play games with the children and any four-legged friends on the lawn.
Stroll less than 1 mile from the cottage to see historic White Castle. Raglan Castle, also worth visiting, is a 9.5-mile drive. Head into Abergavenny to potter in the shops and sample local produce in a friendly pub or cafe.
