For something more laid back, glide along the River Wye by canoe, soaking up the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Within 20 miles, you’ll also discover dramatic landscapes at Hay Bluff, conquer the peak of Lord Hereford’s Knob, or spend a day at Llangorse Lake, where water sports and wildlife spotting make for a fun group outing.

Cross the shared courtyard and step inside, where character and comfort blend seamlessly for a memorable countryside escape. The entrance hall provides a warm welcome, with plenty of space for boots and coats after a day’s adventure. Designed with sociable living in mind, the heart of the barn is its open-plan living area. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, whether you’re preparing a hearty breakfast or a celebratory supper. Gather around the dining area for meals or board games, then unwind in the cosy lounge, complete with plush seating, woodburner and a Smart TV for film nights. Sleeping eight guests across four beautifully presented bedrooms, the layout offers both comfort and flexibility. Two bedrooms are accessed via the first staircase – one super king boasting a free-standing bath, and a king size also featuring double sinks and an en-suite shower room and balcony. The second staircase leads to a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, while the fourth bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor. This flexible super-king-size zip-and-link has access to a separate shower room, making it ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Outside, a private enclosed terrace with a covered dining area is ready for al fresco meals, whatever the weather, surrounded by peaceful countryside views. There is also an 8 seater hot tub to enjoy after a long day. Ample private parking is available, allowing you to come and go with ease.
