Enter this airy property, and you will be greeted with a relaxed, seaside-inspired theme throughout. Take a seat in the ground-floor lounge in front of the TV, and admire gorgeous seaside views across the garden to Southwold Pier. When you're ready to tear yourself away from the sights, head to the fully equipped kitchen to plate up bountiful feasts for all the family. Take a seat at the breakfast bar or enjoy a meal at the nine-seater table or on the decking. After dinner, head up the open-tread spiral staircase to the second lounge, with polished wooden floorboards, leather sofas and a wood burner that is sure to warm those toes after a blustery day on the beach. At bedtime, choose from four beautifully appointed rooms. On the ground floor is a single with an adjustable Volker bed and a Felgains Invacare Ceiling Hoist (looped version) with tracking to the shower room. Also on the ground floor is an en-suite family room hosting a double bed and adult bunk beds. On the first floor are a king-size with en-suite bathroom, and a twin (latter accessed via three steps down from living area). Start your day with a caffeine fix in the garden, best enjoyed with the papers and your feet up.

Relive traditional seaside days out in the lively town of Southwold. Go crabbing from the pier, sunbathe on its endless stretch of coast, or enjoy some healthy competition at the amusements. The town has bars, excellent restaurants and fish and chip shops if you wish to eat out. For a change of scenery, experience Suffolk's natural beauty by walking through the birdwatching paradise of Dunwich Heath, a precious landscape dotted with purple heather and rustic woodland. Tee off at Southwold Golf Club (1 mile) or have a day out at Southwold Maize Maze (2 miles) to fly through the air on a zip wire.
