It’s a lovely 0.5 mile stroll or cycle ride into the centre of Swanton Abbott, a place to enjoy a drink or stock up on essentials. Aylsham and North Walsham (4 miles) are market towns that offer a traditional Norfolk welcome, while Wroxham (5 miles) is known as the capital of The Broads.
