A stunning Grade 2 listed period home that dates from the 1600s. Previously a farmhouse then village pub so lots of history! Beautiful period features and original beams throughout the house. The entire house has been redecorated recently. There is also a beautiful large garden with pond and waterfall. We have also had a top of the range Urban Cedar hot tub fitted in the garden, in a lovely spot for sunsets & stars. A truly unique home, just 30 mins train from central London.

The whole detached house has been redecorated recently. Downstairs there is large reception room with fireplace. There is also a sitting room with a wood burning stove and new 75 inch TV, connected to digital services and Sky TV. Lovely leather sofas in both rooms. Both rooms have Sonos speakers.

The large open plan kitchen dining room has just been made. Loads of natural light and views onto the garden and pond. New American style fridge freezer and Smeg oven. Double doors open onto the patio. Sonos speakers also in this room. There is a downstairs loo next to the kitchen and a garage space for storage.

Upstairs are essentially four bedrooms but only two of these rooms have beds in at present (we have recently moved here). The two bedrooms both have king size beds and stunning original beams. Both these bedrooms also have Sonos speakers. The 2nd floor bedroom also has a 50 inch TV that connected to digital services and Sky TV. The other two rooms are used as dressing rooms at present but give a nice sense of space. It is possible for us to set up a comfortable king size airbed in one of these spare rooms if you would like - please ask if so.

There is a beautiful large garden to the rear of the house. The garden has a fantastic hot tub, a lovely pond with waterfall and lanterns that feel very Mary Poppins at night! The garden extends back to an apple tree and a park behind it.

The house is very conveniently located in beautiful Surrey countryside. It is just 30 mins train from central London (Waterloo and Clapham Junction). Merstham train station is a 4 min walk from the house.

The house backs onto a lovely park / golf course which there is a footpath through that turns into the North Downs way for longer walks. There are some lovely country pubs nearby and a fantastic pizza place opposite the house.
