Évasion paisible! Terrain privĂ© sur le lac Hyco dans la rĂ©gion de Cobscreek. Super emplacement sur le lac et un grand terrain donne l'impression que vous avez tout le lac pour vous! Eaux profondes. Le faible trafic maritime est parfait pour la pĂȘche, les kayaks et les canoĂ«s. Nouveau quai en 2016. Parfait pour regarder les Ă©toiles tard dans la nuit ou prendre un cafĂ© le matin sur la balançoire. Grand porche. MaĂźtres en bas et en haut. Chambre avec lits superposĂ©s. Beautiful and relaxing

We really enjoyed staying at Jean's place. The house was well stocked with all the normal necessities and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. Fishing from the dock was great fun, and the sunsets beautiful. It's also close to VIR, and was an ideal place to relax after a long day at the track. Great place.

Great Location for VIR!

You sleep like a rock in this house and it is as close to track as any other option not AT VIR. Right on lake and very serene. Kitchen was stocked to be able to cook and house had everything we needed.

Really wonderful lake home

This is our 2nd year in a row at this home. Honestly, it's the perfect place for our family. The owners communicate quickly and the dock and lake are amazing. We are already planning our trip here next summer. Thanks so much!

Family Fun House

This home was perfect for our family vacation. The owner was extremely accommodating and the house was stocked for all our needs (towels, trash bags, sheets, kitchen utensils, grill). Our kids fished off the massive dock all day! They loved playing in the canoe. Great water access and we tied our boat/jet ski up right on the dock. I highly recommend this location to future renters!

The Perfect Spot

I can not begin to tell you how incredible our stay was. This is the perfect house, location and all around experience. The view is incredible and all that comes with the house went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely become regular renters and can’t wait to rent again from them!

Father's Day weekend

What a great place to stay at Hyco Lake! It was on a peaceful cove which was great for our 5 grandkids, some learning to tube and ski . The boat house, where we spent most of our time, was wonderful. They had great toys that we could use and that kept the kids busy. The kitchen had anything you could need so made cooking easy. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property

Beautiful lake front with privacy.

This property was perfect for our weekend trip for a wedding. We had 3 families stay with children and the upstairs was perfect to accommodate children. I was very surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with things like crock pot, coffee pot, and even spices and condiments (all those little things you often have stocked in your own kitchen). Most of the houses I have rented had absolutely nothing stocked, so this was nice to see. All of us loved this property! Thanks for sharing it with us!!

Quite and peacful setting, nice land lord, and fully equipped.

We had 3 couples all share the house. Ample room with separate bathrooms for each bedroom made it nice for privacy. Beds are not king sized but ample for average sized people. A fully equipped kitchen and facility. Would visit again.

Amazing Mom & Kids weekend!

Several mothers and our kids rented this wonderful property for a weekend and loved every minute!!! The house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the dock, playing all day in the water, and sleeping in the hammock. The location was private and perfect. We plan on making this a yearly trek!!

Great place to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary!

We needed a place close to relatives in Roxboro to have a 50th anniversary get together for my parents. This house had everything we needed! The weather was perfect, so we set up tables on the dock, where there was plenty of room to serve food and have about 20 people sit and eat. The house was also stocked with fun water toys, lots of indoor games, and outdoor games. Everything was spacious and clean, and there was plenty of towels, cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies. The kids loved the dock and variety of floats, and the kayak and paddleboard, and the adults loved sitting on the dock and porch. The yard was great for games, relaxing in the hammock, and chasing fireflies at night. We would definitely stay here again, and for a lengthier visit next time!

Amazing location for family celebrations!

Jean's home is a just amazing! She is very prompt in responding to questions. Upon arriving, one is surrounded by trees, and then you come upon a beautiful home at the end of a cove. The home has all of the amenities of a home away from home; a lot of thought has gone into every room to make one's stay comfortable. The lake is beautiful and quiet. We were fortunate to see beavers playing in the lake!!!! Sitting on the dock was so serene with family and friends. We would absolutely return to this home for a family holiday!

Lovely, private Lakefront Home

Stayed in this very comfortable home while attending our sons races at VIR. Stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was so lovely and peaceful to sit on the front porch early in the morning while having coffee. Jean was wonderful to work with, always responding to any inquiry promptly. Would love to return but will be sure to extend our stay next time so we can enjoy all that this home and location has to offer.

Ideal, lake home, even if just visiting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is well kept and the pictures are fairly reflective of the actual condition of the house. Our stay was likely longer than the typical guest. It ended up being almost 10 weeks during the winter months. I would imaging the summer months would be very busy around the lake. We were treated to several snow falls during our stay. On one occasion a large portion the lake even froze over. All of which made for memorable experiences. During our stay, we felt extremely comfortable, as if we were in our own home. Jean was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. She tried to make us as comfortable as possible during our stay. I would call Jean, an ideal host. If your in the area, and the home is available, do yourself a favor and spend some time here. We think you'll enjoy it.

I am a beach native but have come to love the simplicity and ease of lake life! Our home is a short 45 minute drive. We can spend the day, the night or the week at Hyco with ease.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased this home from the original owner in 2004. We spent the first several years working and playing on the weekends to add our touch. We added a new dock in 2016 and stone pathway in 2017. We have spent countless hours pulling kids on tubes, wake boarding and relaxing. This is our go-to spot for family get-togethers every July 4th. Our home is loaded with fun memories. We hope you will make some as well!
