Charmante maison avec un immense quai, une vue imprenable sur le lac, de la place pour tout le monde et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un week-end romantique ou un grand rassemblement de famille et d'amis. Soyez prêt à vous détendre sur l'eau - n'hésitez pas à utiliser le canoë, le kayak, le paddle-board, l'attirail de pêche, l'île flottante, la planche à coque, les skis nautiques et les tubes. Massive dock - l'un des plus grands sur le lac. Réfrigérateur pour votre utilisation dans le bateau-maison. Un ascenseur à bateaux et un élévateur à jet d'énergie sont disponibles sur demande si vous apportez votre propre bateau ou si vous amarres simplement sur le quai. À l'intérieur, il y a des DVD, des jeux de société, des trous de maïs, du ping-pong, une table de billard et une collection de disques. Grande terrasse ensoleillée surplombant le lac avec un escalier en porc à l'étage pour se détendre sur les plats et les boissons; Porche sombre en bas, si vous voulez sortir du soleil. Chambre principale avec baignoire à remous et douche séparée. Deux chambres d'hôtes avec lits queen; Une autre chambre avec trois lits jumeaux et une cinquième chambre avec un lit superposé / double. Si vous avez besoin de place pour plus d'informations, il y a trois grands canapés entre les grandes salles de l'étage et les grandes chambres à l'étage, un canapé-lit dans les cuves et les matelas pneumatiques. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec vue sur le lac et une seconde cuisine pleine mais non débarrase en bas. N'hésitez pas à utiliser le gril à gaz sur le pont de l'étage. Les draps et les serviettes de bain / lac sont inclus. Séparer les unités de laveuse / sécheuse avec le savon à l'étage et en bas pour le nettoyage. Restez au frais - deux ventilateurs de climatisation et de plafond dans chaque pièce. Internet WiFi, ordinateur portable de navigateur et imprimante disponibles pour le courrier électronique et la navigation de base, et le téléphone domestique pour les appels domestiques. Course à pied (5 km, 10 km, route de la bière) et pistes cyclables prêtes à explorer; Bouée de retournement de 50 mètres pour les nageurs sérieux. Nice lake house!

House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you!

Wonderful getaway

Even though it was February, this house was peaceful, beautiful, clean. It had everything you could need for cooking. A lot of extra linens, towels etc. The stove and the refrigerator are really great. And the owner is super communicative.

This was our second time renting this house, we love everything about it. It's so peaceful and beautiful. The kids love going fishing and kayaking. The house has plenty of space for our large family and lots to do inside as well.

Very nice home

We had a nice time up on the lake in between competing at VIR just a few minutes down the road. House was clean, large enough to fit our 8 team and crew, and provided us with some quiet time fishing off the dock. Host is very responsive to any issues/ requests.

The house is great, there is a thing with the water getting a sulfur smell but the owner said to let water run for awhile and it fixed it on up and we didn’t have any more problems during our stay.

Amazing!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this house. The lake is amazing, my kids loved fishing, caught some bass and catfish, and they loved going out on the kayaks. The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed supplied. The owner was very nice. We made really great memories here and would love to come back again, I would highly recommend this place!

The property was really nice! Had activities for all ages of our family no one was bored! This has had literally everything you need and so much more! We only left to make store runs or go to the event we came to Leasburg for. Created so many memories for both the kids and adults.

One of the best getaway in NC

This was one of most fantastic and fun stay we had, especially during this pandemic time. We were a group of three families with kids and it was a refreshing outing for all of us. Host Andy and Jeremy were very responsive and helpful. Property is very good and a great weekend stay. Overall inside the house was very clean though outside sitting areas need a power wash. We will prefer to come back here again.

Entertaining Lake Home- needs TLC

Best part of house …. is the lake! Dock and water toys are a much welcomed addition to house. Believe me when I say- You WANT to spend majority of your time enjoying the environment outside. We rented boat from NC Marine for the week. Highly recommend using them. We enjoyed the house to gather in for meals. House needs a good deep clean & washing. The showers and baths are being over looked by cleaning company. Fortunately, we lived close enough to lake that we opted to drive home and shower. We left house better than we found it. (Which I always recommend doing as a guest.) I’d recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets. AND most importantly Get outside & don’t forget your shower shoes! 😉.

Great space in this house to accommodate large groups with ample rooms for comfort and sleeping space. Activities for everyone with the generous recreational amenities provided. Gorgeous dock and view with great space for enjoying life on the lake. Patio and large deck with great views of lake and easy outdoor entertaining. The owner is a pleasure to rent from with quick responses and customer service to ensure a wonderful stay. Would definitely rent this home again!!

Off the grid and quiet

A very lovely home. Very comfortable. It wasn’t as clean as we expected and we ended up having to clean some gross things (bathtubs, found a dirty diaper covered in bugs) and it was very cobwebby, lots of spiders but I’m sure that’s just life on the lake. It was a peaceful and quiet spot on a lovely lake. There was mostly no internet and no cell service (not the fault of the homeowner). It was really a nice spot.

Front Porch viewgood

The house, location, water toys, fishing were all great. The 70 year old and the six year and everyone in between had a good time. The downstairs was a great play area . Areas for improvement are the driveway, the upstairs oven and the tv. The driveway has to be less steep, the oven needs to be fixed so that it will turn off, and a tv that cannot have football on Saturday is worthless. It was had to keep the downstairs cool. We will probably be back.

Beautiful Lakeside Property!

We spent 4 days here as a family to enjoy the lake and celebrate a birthday and it was just wonderful. The house is beautiful and well accommodated, the manager is communicative and the lake is wonderful. While we didn't rent the pontoon, we did go out on the canoe a few times which was a blast, and the quiet setting make for some peaceful relaxation. There were a lot of spiders! but this is common for a lake side property, just bring some gloves and do a sweep of the house when you arrive! I'd also recommend bringing your own TP! Overall, wonder home, wonderful lake and we couldn't really have asked for more. Looking forward to a return visit!

great home! gracious host---plenty of room on the dock...

home is very comfortable---owner shares all of his lake toys except for his boat!---paddle boards, canoe, kayaks---likejackets-----very gracious owner---huge dock---plenty of deck space and docking for several boats-----we so enjoyed the eve. playing old lp's while making dinner---my kids have never experienced a turntable---he has many records that a 40 something couple could relate to ..--satellite t.v.---bunches of movies to choose from.....home is very comfortable---plenty of towels....owner opens up the home as if he were there with you------we stayed during the week for a few nights and had the lake to ourselves....thanks Andy, we'll call you when we can return to hyco......jm--elon n.c.--

Beautiful View

When you pull in the driveway the view will take your breath away. The house was just as advertised with lots of items to entertain you, both adults and children of all ages. Wish the master had a king size bed. Will rent again if they change the master bed to a king. Occupant before us spilled a large amount of something in the upstairs oven and covered it up with tin foil so we couldn't use that oven. Only other issue we had was all the spider webs on the house and dock area. Not sure if that is just the area or not. They scared my granddaughter so we had to remove them with a broom to get her to spend time on the dock with the family. All in all an awesome place.

Nice House and Lakefront but Beware of Spiders/Bugs and Lack of Cleanliness

On the plus side, Hyco Lake is great. Very large and very enjoyable. The house is on a quiet part but even the main areas were not very crowded for Aug. We rented the owner's boat, which was a must and the highlight of our trip. Without access to the boat, we would have left early. The house is as advertised in terms of space. (Although, I think the pictures posted with the listing were taken with a wide angle lens so it is not quite as big as it appears). The furnishings are accurate, although more worn and stained than they appear in the pictures. The owners are very generous with the items that they offer for use. That being said, a lot of things are worn or broken and are not stored in a very orderly way. Record player was not there when we went and many Xbox games did not work. The biggest issues for us were with the lack of cleanliness and bugs. The inside of the house was very dirty. Cobwebs inside. Ants, both big and small, all over the kitchen. Some examples: Cereal poured out in corner cabinet that no one bothered to clean up. Leftover coffee grounds in the coffee pot. Whole raisins on the carpet. Half-eaten pretzels behind the door of the lower level kitchen. It was as if no one had been through to clean, although when I called about it, I was told that someone had been there. There was dust and bugs all over the house. We found hair in the bed sheets that we were told had been changed. The outside of the house was horrible. There are spiderwebs and dirt and dead bugs everywhere. We were told they powerwash twice a year. Clearly it is needed more often. I had to go outside with Windex myself to clean the windows and doors so we could enjoy the view to the lake without looking at dead bugs. If someone would just come through with a broom and cleanser each week, it would be fine. It just wasn't kept up at all. Finally, the dock. The dock was impossible for us to enjoy. There were spiders/webs and wasps everywhere. Like the exterior of the house, it just hasn't been well maintained. The radio was covered in webs. Some of the webs were new. I would wipe down webs and by the next morning they were back. But that didn't account for it all. I kayaked over to the neighbors docks to see how well maintained they were and this one was by far the worst. It just hasn't been cleaned well or maintained so there are dead bugs and webs everywhere. The kids refused to swim off the dock. Thankful, again, for the boat which saved us.

We are soon-to-be empty nesters with three kids in/starting college and one kid off payroll with children of her own out of state. Love the Hyco house but will not be able to spend as much time there as we would like. Our "work and school" home is only 45 miles away - not a bad car ride and actually not an awful bike ride either - so we're up at the house regularly for projects and maintenance (there's a lot of lawn to mow) but have had to hustle home before we could get much running, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, grilling or relaxing in; hoping you can do it for us.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with our lake-home the second we started pulling down the circular driveway and saw how the home and lake merge together to give a perfect, unrestricted view almost as far as the eye can see. There are not many houses on the lake that can comfortably accommodate a family as large as ours. The dock being one of the largest on the lake (not allowed to build them as large anymore) is an added perk and allows us to enjoy the water to the fullest.

One of the largest docs on the lake located on a unique bend. House and dock have a very relaxing view of the water. We provide plenty of toys to make the stay truly worthwhile.
