Warm & Cosy Home with Parking, Full of Character
Summary:
A warm and cosy home, full of character in the Up Hatherley suburb of Cheltenham. This charming 2-bedroom retreat with it's quirky, Korean inspired decor and many homely touches is available for short to medium-term stays while the owner is temporarily living abroad. You will find everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay, including fast WiFi, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. A great base for exploring Cheltenham, Gloucestershire & The Cotswolds.
The Space:
Enter the home into the bright, welcoming open plan kitchen / dining area, bathed in sunlight from the large skylight windows.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for a short or longer stay, including dishwasher, separate washing machine & tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. Youâll find a wide selection of quality kitchen appliances and cookware for preparing meals in.
The spacious dining area has a table and chairs for 6, creating a perfect social area for family or friends.
This leads into a characterful living room with beautiful bay windows, looking out to a lovely lawned area at the front of the house. The log burning stove and comfy sofa and armchair make this the ideal room for cosying up on winter evenings, or year round for that matter. Thereâs even a piano for those musically inclined guests!
Upstairs, past the ownerâs quirky hat collection lovingly displayed on the wall, you will find 2 bedrooms. The freshly decorated landing leads to the master bedroom, featuring a comfy Kingsize bed, large wardrobes and a chest of drawers, so plenty of clothes storage.
The second bedroom has a single bed and large triple wardrobe. The ownerâs fully stocked bookshelf fills one of the walls â feel free to have a read during your stay.
The modern bathroom with stylish wooden panelling includes full sized bath with shower over.
Entrance to the house is through the sunny rear courtyard garden, a lovely spot to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
Parking is readily available, with an allocated space for 1 car right outside the garden entrance, plus additional visitors parking just a little further up the street.
Located in the popular residential suburb of Up Hatherley, everything Cheltenham has to offer is very easily accessible from the house. You can walk to town in 30 minutes, hop on the bus to the racecourse, or enjoy a round of golf or a fantastic Sunday roast at the superb Brickhampton Golf Club.
Cheltenham town centreâs many excellent restaurants, shops, cafĂ©s and famous Jazz and Literature festivals are just a 5-10 minute drive away. Weâll happily give you some recommendations.
Pets - small, well behaved dogs are welcome on prior agreement, we just ask that they stay downstairs (a stairgate will be provided).
Whether visiting Cheltenham for work or leisure, we think youâll be very comfortable in this lovely home. We'd love to welcome you soon!

Guests will have exclusive access to the property for the duration of their stay.
Other Things to Note:
Owners Belongings - this home is available for stays while the owner is away travelling. Therefore, you can expect to see personal touches and the owner's belongings around the place, rather than the more 'stripped back' feel of a custom holiday let. This all gives great character and adds to the warm, 'home from home' atmosphere.
Additional Pull-out Bed - Although the house sleeps 3, there is the option to house a 4th guest on a pull-out bed in the living room. This can be arranged for an additional fee of ÂŁ25 per night to cover the extra laundry & preparation. Please arrange with us before booking. Fee to be paid directly.
Pricing & Long Stay Discounts - Our pricing includes generous discounts for stays of 4 nights plus.
