Bourne Bank has been totally refurbished to a high standard and boasts gorgeous interiors. It offers a sizeable kitchen diner, covered luxury hot tub, lounge with wood burner and Sky Sports, and a games room with Xbox.
It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pretty garden with hot tub and BBQ. Parking for two medium sized cars.
In the heart of Bmth town centre, itâs a stroll from extensive amenities and the beach.
Ideal for both families and friends due to flexible sleeping arrangements.
The space
Fabulous Bourne Bank is a boutique four bedroom detached house in the heart of Bournemouth town centre complete with covered luxury hot tub which is available all year round. The property has been remodelled and totally refurbished, so everything is new, aside from a few vintage pieces. This unique retreat is full of character with carefully chosen, gorgeous interiors and a fun seaside vibe. The attention to detail is impressive with quality, contemporary fixtures and fittings and hotel quality mattresses. It is well equipped and thereâs a lot to keep you entertained on site. Parking is available for two medium sized cars; on the driveway and in the garage and there is WIFI available throughout. We are very experienced hosts and cleanliness is paramount and therefore we employ professional cleaners and use a laundry servicing company for our bedding and towels.
You will be spoilt for choice at Bourne Bank with three awesome living areas to chill out in, each with a large flatscreen tv with Freeview and on-demand and we have Sky and Sky Sports too. The large (approx 400 sq foot) and stylish open plan kitchen diner complete with sociable table football is undoubtedly the jewel in the crown. Relax in the separate, sophisticated lounge with stripped original floorboards - fire up the wood burner and warm your toes by the roaring fire. Relax on the comfy velvet corner sofa with a blanket while making use of the surround sound system. Play a few tunes on the vintage GEC Radiogram, bring your own records if you like or hang out in the funky basement games room with Xbox and beanbags. After a busy day exploring the area, take it easy in the state of the art Hotsprings hot tub complete with massage jets and vivid LED lights - this is covered so can be used in all weathers. The private outside entertaining space has a sleek industrial look and it is west-facing, offering idyllic sunset views over the gardens - the perfect spot for a cheeky sundowner! Enjoy al fresco dining as there is a gas BBQ and seating for eight.
Our pretty bolthole occupies an elevated position with a panoramic view of the impressive Victorian Central Gardens with public tennis courts and cafe. As a result of this there are a few unavoidable steps to the house - thereâs a zig zag slope that can be used to avoid further steps. Directly over the road is an awesome toddlers to teens playground with zip wire and an excellent selection of wooden equipment and table tennis table. The Grade II listed pleasure gardens offer vibrant displays and feature the houseâs namesake the pleasant Bourne Stream. Stroll through the beautiful gardens to get to the hub of the town centre - The Square; less than a five minute walk (note the handy Tesco Metro here!). Enjoy the fantastic selection of high street and independent shops, cosmopolitan restaurants and bars. The BH2 leisure complex is just off The Square and features a ten screen Odeon cinema, a (really) crazy indoor golf course and a whole host of well known restaurants.
Another five minute walk brings you to our famous sandy beach and iconic pier. A multitude of leisure activities are right on your doorstep, from zip wires over the sea to marshmallows over a beach BBQ - itâs easy to see why Bournemouth is called the Coast with the Most! Being known for its temperate microclimate, thereâs a wide variety of outdoorsy activities to try - including water sports, walking and horse riding. There are numerous local resorts to explore and slightly further afield youâll find the picturesque New Forest and world-famous Jurassic Coast. The multi-award-winning resort is repeatedly voted the Best UK Seaside town in the British Travel Awards and was voted the UKâs best beach in the 2025TripAdvisor Awards. Escape to the Blue Flag beaches and breathe in the fresh sea air while wandering along the prom which runs the length of the seven miles of glorious golden sand.

There are steps to get to the house however the steps on the right are less steep than those on the left. Thereâs a zig zag slope from the right which leaves only eleven steps to the front door.

Pete and I were both born locally and itâs fair to say weâre huge fans of Bournemouth, also known as the Coast with the Most! Whilst we had a ball living in SW London for over ten years, we returned home to Southbourne to raise our three girls a few years ago as we missed the beach and the New Forest! We live three miles away from the house and are always contactable if needed. We love long walks with our two fluffy Pomeranians or a good mooch around the local vintage emporiums followed by a bite to eat at one of the many amazing eateries nearby. We also enjoy a comedy night (naturally avoiding the front row) or a sundowner cocktail with a lovely coastal view. We absolutely love hosting and have successfully been doing so for over five years. It so rewarding to help guests make special memories with friends or family. We pay attention to the small details to ensure everyone has a lovely break in our beautiful and well equipped home-from-home. Having stayed at many Airbnbs, we have combined some of the best things that we have seen and create a unique and comfortable one ourselves. Jo
