My home is a wonderful family-oriented lodge, situated on exclusive Minety Lake, part of the Lower Mill Estate, within the Cotswolds Lakes.
The lodge, set across three floors, comfortably sleeps 10, with 1 super-king bed, 2 king size beds, 4 single beds and an additional sofa bed available on request. There is a private hot tub overlooking the lake, games room incl pool table and air-con in the south facing rooms.
There is free access to the Lower Mill Estate pool and other facilities.
Set in idyllic tranquil surroundings on Minety Lake, my home is a perfect base for groups of family or friends looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday.
Whether you are taking in the breath-taking south facing lake views, unwinding in the private hot tub, or paddle boarding on the lake, the lodge provides the perfect setting to create wonderful memories.
Property layout:
Entering the property you will be greeted by a wonderfully designed open plan home with natural light streaming down from the three floor high windows and stunning wall to wall glass patio doors at the rear of the lodge.
The stylish, top of the range kitchen has everything you would look for including large fridge / freezer, induction hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, Ninja air-fryer, Nespresso coffee machine and breakfast bar, with high stools.
Heading beyond the kitchen into the dining area, there is an impressive large oak table, which can accommodate up to ten guests, perfect for some evening socialising!
Adjacent is the spacious living area, with plenty of comfy seating, large Smart TV & sound bar, and modern wood burner. Views overlook the outside decking and Minety Lake beyond.
The decking area has a private hot tub, gas BBQ and plenty of seating, perfect for a relaxed family evening meal as the sun begins to set! There are two paddle boards available for guest use, which can be launched from the Lodgeâs jetty.
Back in the lodge and heading upstairs there is the wonderfully spacious master bedroom, with superking sized bed, complete with air-con, Smart TV and large ensuite. The balcony has seating for two and provides stunning views across Minety Lake. Great way to start the day!
Moving across the first floor there are two good sized king sized bedrooms, both with built in ceiling fans, one with en-suite. The first floor is completed with the family bathroom.
Continuing upstairs to the top floor there is a large bedroom with four single beds (very kid friendly!), Smart TV and a further family shower-room.
The top floor also boasts the games room, family fun for adults and children alike! The games room features a 6 foot pool table, games console, mini bar, Sonos speaker and large Smart TV. The room overlooks the Lake and has air-con installed.
All bedrooms have built in wardrobes offering plenty of storage space and beds come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
The ground floor also has a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, 6 ft tall fridge and additional sink.
Parking:
The property offers parking for two cars, with additional overflow parking available close by on the Estate. An EV charger is also provided for electric vehicles, free of charge.
Pets:
Two well behaved dogs are allowed on request. Please give details when making your booking, to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of ÂŁ30, added to the booking price.
Further points to note:
- There is high speed fibre Wi-Fi is throughout the house
- All bedrooms have black out curtains and / or blinds
- The property has underfloor heating throughout
- There is a high chair and travel cot; guests requested to bring own bedding
House rules:
- Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
- Hen or stag parties are prohibited
- All guests are asked to abide by the Lower Mill Estate rules and regulations, which will be sent ahead separately.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the house sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
My property is managed by Pass the KeysÂź Cotswolds, led by Tim and supported by Andrea and Caroline. They are based here in the Cotswolds and are able to offer local expertise before, during and after your stay!
The lodge and outside space, including the hot tub, are for guests exclusive use for the duration of the stay.
The Lower Mill Estate facilities, incl spa and swimming pool are also available for the duration of the stay, however are managed by a 3rd party. Please check for availability and fees, for instance, whilst the pool is free to use it needs to be booked in advance at certain times of the year.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
