La maison est située dans le petit village d’Hatainville a 2KM de Carteret, Elle est a 200M D'un point vue EXTRAORDINAIRE sur toute la plage sauvage...

On ne voit pas les autres maisons, mis a part derrière la maison (ce qui fait que la maison est unique) elle est complètement entouré par la nature : autour des prés ou gambade de magnifiques chevaux. En sortant vous empruntez un chemin et vous êtes directement dans les dunes, avec a quelques centaines de mètres un point de vue extraordinaire sur les dunes et leur espace protégé complètement naturel de 16KM de long. Plus de présence ou de construction humaine, la plage vous appartient…

Tous les différents propriétaire recherchaient ce contact directe avec une nature forte, et certain venaient loin pour ça (notamment un hollandais et un belge)

Après plus d’un an de recherche nous avons réussi à trouver cette maison où nous découvrons à chaque fois quelques choses de nouveau dans la nature la région.. et nous remplie de bonheur.

Vous n’avez qu’a vous posez sur la terrasse exposée plein sud, pour déjeuner sur la grande table en bois ou dans les fauteuil pour contempler le magnifique spectacle de la nature qui s’offre à vous.

Mais la maison est aussi magnifique durant les saisons plus froides : après de somptueuses promenades face aux éléments vous pourrez vous blottir a côté de la cheminée qui donne une chaleur douce à toute la maison.
Le temps reste doux grâce au Gulf-Stream et on peut se baigner souvent jusqu’au 1 Nov.

La maison est complètement en bois et importée de Norvège. Elle a été décoré avec soin de manière a être en harmonie avec l’architecture, d’inspiration Scandinave ou maritime (la maison ayant appartenue aussi a un marin connus) nous avons privilégié le bois massif.

La maison est composée au rez de chaussé d’un grand salon salle a manger, une grande cuisine une chambre et les toilettes. Au 1 er étage 2 chambres et la grande salle de bain avec douche, baignoire et un second WC.
Les 3 chambres comportent des lits doubles, il y a deux canapés pouvant accueillir 3 personnes et un lit gonflable pour une personne.
Accès des voyageurs
Elle comporte tout le confort moderne : machine à lavée le linge, la vaisselle, un séchoir, micro onde, Wifi… Vous trouverez un grand BBQ américain, et tout ce qu’il faut pour profiter du jardin et de la plage.

Les draps sont inclus dans le prix.

The house is the last one on a path, which leads you straight into the dunes and to the sea.

The Space
The house is located in the outskirts of a small village called Hatainville, approximately 2 km from Carteret. The other residences on the path are located away from the house, which makes the location unique: It`s surrounded by a meadow, a couple of beautiful horses and lots of wild rabbits.

A small path leads you directly into the dunes, and after a few hundred meters you find yourself at an extraordinary viewpoint (80 m above sea level), overlooking the sea and the wild dunes that stretches as far as 16 km. from South to North. It’s a protected natural area and therefor completely wild, without any man made constructions.

The previous owners of the house, including a Dutch and a Belgic, were all searching for a place, where they could be in close contact with the wild nature.

After more than one year of searching for a country house, we arrived to find this charming gem. Every time we are here we always discover something new. Whether it’s in the nature or in the region, the place always brings us happiness and new memories.

From the large South facing terrace, you can enjoy your lunch made from local products sold in the different markets close by. After lunch you can unwind in the wooden armchairs or sunbeds in the quiet garden, while listening to the soundtrack of the nature.

The house is also charming during the colder seasons. After a long walk where you are exposed to the strong forces of the nature, you can snuggle up beside the fireplace that efficiently heats up the entire house.
But it's never too much cold because of the gulf stream we take sea bath often until the 1 Nov.

The wooden house was originally imported from Norway, and is decorated in harmony with the architecture, inspired by Scandinavia and the sea (one of the previous owners were a famous sailor).

The ground floor of the house is where you will find the living room, the dining room, a large kitchen, bedroom and the toilet. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, a separate bathtub and a second WC.

All three bedrooms have double beds, and a sofa bed on the first floor can accommodate two persons. The sofa in the living room accommodates one person, and an inflatable bed is suitable for one person.

Guest Access
The house has all the modern utilities for making your stay as comfortable as possible. Amongst other things, you will find; Washing machine and a dryer, dish washer, microwave oven, induction cooktop, Wifi… Outside, there is a large American BBQ, and all you need for the garden and the beach.
The bed linen are included in the price.

The Neighborhood
THE AREA
The beach close by offers many activities, for instance; surfing, kite surfing and you can rent sand yachts directly on the beach. But you can also choose to relax on the large beach, where it’s easy to find a spot far from other people.

Walks in the dunes are always a magical experience, and with its numerous trails you will easily discover the beauty of this area. If you want to explore the area a bit further, you can always use the bikes.

The house is located only 2 km. from Carteret, which is located at the seaside. Since the early century, it has been a famous place for families to spend their holidays and weekends. Carteret is charming with its market, where you can buy fresh and delicious local products such as; cheese, fruit de mer, fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, cider etc..

There are several restaurants in Carteret, some with Michelin stars, bars on the beach, cinema, shops and a large Carrefour where you can find practically everything.

THE REGION
There are many attractions and places to discover in the region. Visit the D-Day beaches where the invasion took place during the 2nd World War, or you can take the boat from Carteret to the British Islands; Guernsey or Jersey.

Mont St. Michel, the stunning cliffs at Cap de la Hauge, the navy museum in Cherbourg where you can visit the nuclear submarine, the famous tapestry in Bayeux, local producers of cider are just a few activities this region has to offer.

Getting around
By train from Paris: From Paris Gare St. Lazare you take the train towards Cherbourg and get (email hidden)om here there is a bus to Carteret.

From England: Take the ferry to Cherbourg, or pass by the British islands.

We recommend you to have a car here for getting around, and visit the region.
