Please note: This property cannot accommodate Sunday arrivals. This superb cottage rests in Middleton, Cumbria and can sleep up to eighteen people in six bedrooms.
High View Barn is a wonderful stone cottage situated on the outskirts of Middleton, Cumbria. On the ground-floor, the property hosts a king-size with a sofa bed and a family room with four singles, served by two en-suite shower rooms. The first-floor provides four super-king-size beds, one with zip/link features and a sofa bed and served by three en-suite shower room and an en-suite bathroom, able to sleep a total of eighteen guests. Discover a mezzanine games room and a private sauna. Downstairs provides an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, as well as a utility area. Outside has an enclosed lawn, patio and gravelled garden with furniture and large hot tub, as well as ample off-road parking. High View Barn is a delightful choice for a rural-based holiday to this picturesque area of Cumbria. Please note: Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this property; if electric charging is detected a charge of £100 will be deducted from the good housekeeping bond. Permission has to be sought from the owners for the setting off of Fireworks

Range electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, wine cooler, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Sonos speaker in house and near hot tub. TVs and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Owner will advise where to purchase extra fuel at the cottage. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and decking areas with furniture, built in BBQ and large hot tub (seats 10). Full-size bowling green available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3.6 miles. Pub 4 miles. No kettle in the property it’s got a hot water system in the kitchen tap. Note: The owner is able to assist with local contacts for caterers and suppliers. Note: A helicopter can be hired with prior notice for special celebrations, as there is a landing site available within the grounds. Note: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Town: The attractive old market town of Sedbergh (pronounced Sed-Ber), with its old-world atmosphere, is not only set in the magnificent western dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park but is also close to the rugged eastern fells of the Lake District. The town, with its narrow streets, little shops, traditional pubs, famous school dating back to 1525 and its 12th century church, has been a thriving community for hundreds of years, with a market dating from the 13th Century. Leading from Sedbergh is Dentdale, the jewel of the Yorkshire Dales with its rolling hills and dry-stone walls, stretching 14 miles from the windswept moors below Whernside to the confluence of the Rivers Dee and Rawthey. At the centre of the dale is Dent, with its cobbled streets, which has existed since Norman times and nearby Dent railway station is on the renowned Settle-Carlisle railway line. There are three golf courses nearby, as well as tennis, riding, and fishing, and the area is a paradise for walkers, ramblers, runners, and cyclists. This, together with the tranquillity of the surrounding valleys, the two National Parks and it being England's book town, makes an ideal year-round holiday destination.
