Slow Villa Barbara â A Stylish Piedmontese Retreat Among the Vineyards
Welcome to your home in the heart of Italyâs wine country!
We â Kirill and Yulia â are so happy to welcome you to Slow Villa Barbara, our lovingly restored Piedmontese cascina (traditional farmhouse). After successful international careers in marketing, we followed our hearts and dedicated ourselves to something we love â hosting guests and sharing the rich beauty of this extraordinary region.
As seasoned travelers, we understand what makes a stay truly special. Thatâs why weâve created a place where comfort, elegance, and authenticity meet â surrounded by vineyards, nature, and history.
đĄ The Villa
Villa Barbara combines rustic heritage with modern design, blending rustic chic and contemporary fusion styles throughout its interiors. Spanning over 300 mÂČ (3,230 sq ft), the home offers generous space and refined comfort for families or groups of up to 10 guests.
There are five bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Four of the bedrooms are especially spacious and ideal for couples or families. The fifth bedroom is located on the ground floor and was thoughtfully designed to be cozy and easily accessible â particularly convenient for guests with limited mobility.
The villa also offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, private on-site parking, and a beautiful landscaped garden exclusive to guests.
đïž Living & Dining
At the heart of the house is a 70 mÂČ (750 sq ft) sun-drenched living room featuring a fireplace, comfortable sofa, a library of cook books, a big-screen smart TV, and a large dining table for 10 â perfect for gatherings, shared meals, or relaxing after a day in the countryside.
đœïž The fully equipped kitchen includes high-end appliances and all the essentials to prepare anything from a light breakfast to a full Italian dinner. We can also help connect you with private chefs or local cooks for in-home dining experiences.
đ§ș A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available for your convenience.
đż Outdoor Living
Surrounded by our own Nebbiolo vineyards, Villa Barbara offers complete privacy and postcard-worthy views. From the huge panoramic garden terrace, you can admire the stunning medieval castle of Cisterna dâAsti, beautifully illuminated at night and visible from several points on the property.
Outside, youâll find:
A panoramic pool (40 mÂČ) overlooking the rolling Roero and Terre Alfieri hills
Sun loungers and stylish outdoor lounge furniture
A shaded dining area with BBQ grill for al fresco meals
A private garden perfect for relaxing, reading, or letting children play in a secure setting
And with private parking on the property, your arrival and daily outings are always easy and convenient.
đïž Comfortable Bedrooms for All Guests
All five bedrooms are designed with rest and serenity in mind, furnished in an elegant blend of rustic textures and modern touches. Each has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet.
2 bedrooms feature balconies with sweeping views of vineyards and Cisterna d'Asti Castle
2 family-friendly bedrooms overlook the garden and pool. Each of these rooms includes comfortable beds for parents and sofas that can comfortably accommodate children, making them ideal for a couple with one or two kids.
