Baydreamin 'est situé sur le côté Est de l'île, non loin du centre de l'île où se trouvent tous les commerces et restaurants. Joliment meublée pour faciliter la vie et le confort, la maison dispose de deux suites King Master au premier étage qui s'ouvrent sur une belle terrasse ouverte surplombant la baie d'Apalachicola! Le dernier étage bénéficie d'une vue imprenable sur la baie, avec des espaces de vie et de salle à manger ouverts, une cuisine avec bar, une demi-baignoire et un grand porche grillagé, parfait pour la détente! Le salon dispose également d'un grand canapé-lit. Nous sommes à seulement 2 pâtés de maisons de la plage, à seulement 3 minutes à pied! Trois nouvelles télévisions intelligentes avec la capacité Netflix et le wi-fi! Baydreamin se trouve sur deux lots et vous donne beaucoup d'intimité. Prenez votre livre préféré et prenez le temps dans le hamac ou profitez du café sur les ponts et regardez les aigles à tête blanche, les aigrettes et les grues jouent dans la cour arrière. C'est un endroit parfait pour pratiquer le yoga ou simplement échapper à l'agitation. Il y a même une terrasse d'observation sur le toit pour regarder les étoiles ou regarder les magnifiques levers et couchers de soleil. Baydreamin 'est la retraite de la nature parfaite que vous recherchez!

THERE IS BLACK MOLD IN ALL THE AIR VENTS AND IN THE BATHROOM. We reached out to the host, and never got a response. Very disappointed. The outside was a little messy and ungroomed. The house itself is cute, but the house has been let go and needs a lot of TLC. We will not be staying there again.

Furniture could be updated and more comfortable. It would be nice to inform renters about the amount of steps not easy on seniors! Other than that beautiful view of the bay and well stocked kitchen.

Cute Place!

This house is perfect little getaway place for a small family. The decor was adorable and well placed! All appliances worked. The parking places were tight under the house, so we had to park our truck and boat on the road side (there was plenty of room there!). The backyard are could use a little bit of tree trimming, but overall this place was perfect!

What an amazing place!

The home and property were beautiful and perfect. We knew it backed up to the state land on the bay and so that was one of the reasons we booked it initially but the views once we got there were better than we imagined! We could see a bald eagle nest from the screened in porch. Incredible. The home was spotless and very well maintained. We were very comfortable there and so were our dogs. The walk to the beach takes minutes and we made that walk often while we are there. The street is quiet and the neighbors were all so polite. We love spending time on SGI in the “off season”. I’m so glad we chose to stay here for our trip this year!

Needs landscaping and cleaning

The property is overgrown with bushes and weeds. Its also in need of cleaning. There were dusty and dirty surfaces inside and out. The fridge leaked water. One of the sliding doors by the kitchen would not lock. The ac unit condensate drains onto the parking area under the house creating a slip hazard. The dock on the property is not safe to use. The carpet inside on the stairs is filty. Found pet hair throughout the home. Screened in proch has screen missing. The listing says there is a hot tube which does not exist. Also says there is a golf cart for rent which doesnt exist. The mosquitoes made being outside unbearable in the evenings. There are stains on the curtains in the living room. The crows nest on top of the house is in need of repairs and not safe to use. There also appears to be mold around the stairs going up to the crows nest. The beach gear supplied is old and not usable. There are much better properties on the island to stay at. Pick someplace else.

Great house!

Had a great stay at this property. The observation deck was very nice and the house was set up perfectly. The AC went out while we were there but the owner was very prompt in getting it repaired so that was appreciated.

Could have been perfect

This house is quite nice, well laid out, and comfortable. The view is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the property isn't being well maintained. The screen porch, which is why I booked it, had huge detached panels of screen. The beds are comfy but are ruined by pilled sheets (which were once really nice cotton). The hammock is completely torn in half. The location is great and I wish it was better maintained because if it were, I would book here again.

Pleasant, great location, a little outdated and benefits for better cleaning

Generally, we had a very pleasant time. The house has a great location. It is in the secluded wooded area with 5-minutes walk to the beach. House itself is a very nice place for 2 couples or a family of 4-6 people. It has fully stocked kitchen (although addition of cork opener and placemats/tablecloth would be nice). Although, the dining table is covered with the sticky paint, something should be done about it. The beach gears in the shed, such as nice beach chairs and a trolly wagon cart, are a great addition. Of note, a better general cleaning is needed. We noticed a lot of dust, specifically on the light fixtures. A cleaning and better maintenance of the outside areas, including decks, is a must.

Deceptive Rental

This rental was not as advertised. No hot tub, screened in porch has completely torn window screens, stairway filthy and smelled like cat urine, bed sheets were pilled and old, barbecue wheel fell off when using, grass unmowed, outdoor area under house was unsightly with torn unusable hammock, tv cable did not exist and when contacted the host never returned call nor addressed the issue when messaged. A totally unacceptable rental!

Awful Experience

This property was so disappointing. The carpet was stained and dirty. The lower level coming into the house smelled. There are several electrical outlets that are taped off. When I went to plug in the coffee maker, it arched and almost electrocuted me. The TV in the main room did not work properly for the day we were rained in. There is black mold present on the ventilation system. The owner was so mean. After a misunderstanding with our check out she treated us horribly (after I brought to her attention some issues with the house and almost being electrocuted). Worst experience we have ever had.

Unforgettable stay..

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home on the bay with my sister and my nieces/nephews. This was our first time on SGI and it didn’t disappoint. Communication with the host and checking-in was a breeze. When we first arrived, the first thing we noticed was the beautiful bay, how lovely the home was decorated and all the amenities we didn’t realize was included (thanks, Jennifer!). The sunsets from the crows nest and the deck was something truly out of a magazine. And the beds were super comfortable! The kitchen was well-stocked with all the tools to make a meal, enjoy a cup of coffee, or pour a glass of wine. It’s true what they say about the island, there’s no bad spots, but this home was located within a mile or so to the square and only a short walk or drive to the beach. Dog-walking was one of my favorite rituals this week! Finally, we had the opportunity to meet the host and her family as they were down for the holiday. It’s nice knowing we were renting from such nice, hospitable people. We cannot wait to go back to SGI and we will be staying here or another one of Jennifer’s properties next time!

Nice location; house and check in need help

Nice location with a good view of the marsh from top deck and decent furnishings. The house was rather dirty, fridge leaks, and the water stands in the carports because of poor grading. The carpet on stairs from entrance to second floor is badly soiled and smells. Rest of the hard woods on second and third floor are fine. VRBO sent us the wrong door code, and the owner took a day to respond to our requests for alternate instructions. We had to shimmy through a second floor window left open to get in the day of arrival. House needs work, and VRBO and owner need to get their act together.

We had a wonderful stay on St George Island! This vacation property is in a perfect location for a short walk to the beach and beautiful views of the bay. The back of the property is adjacent to preserved land and was great for watching the bald eagles, great blue herons and song birds. The screened in porch is tree top level. The house had everything we needed from a well appointed kitchen to yoga mats and beach chairs. The beds were very comfortable and provided a much needed rest from real life. Beautifully decorated and “beachy”, It is a well used unit and showed some age and use. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to the possibility of another visit.

Christmas Getaway

Quiet area away from the main hub but close enough to enjoy all the amenities. Clean and very accommodating owners, responded quickly to any questions. The place is beautiful!

Great double lot

We really enjoyed our stay on this double lot—on the screened in porch you felt like you were up in the trees overlooking the bay. It seemed quieter than other houses that are closer together. We enjoyed cooking fresh seafood in the kitchen! We brought a few kitchen essentials expecting a typical rental kitchen, but it was very well stocked. The location was great—just a very short walk to the beach. Our only wish was for an outdoor shower (don’t worry, there was a hose to rinse off your feet)!

Disappointed But Great View

The view of the Apalachicola Bay was amazing; bed was very comfortable; kitchen pans & tableware were good. Now.....we all know the carpet on the steps need replaced as it holds in an odor when coming in the house, not to mention stains. The wood laminate has been cleaned with a cleaner that has left a build up and were very dirty. We wore shoes in the house as the floors had a sticky feel and my granddaughters feet were black from them (except bedrooms- I mopped them 3 times) Living space on top floor was uncomfortable as the furniture was broke & dirty (I covered with sheets) During our 3 week stay we had a few cold & rainy days so they was no lounging on that furniture (thank goodness for a great bed) We just wanted to come back to the house and feel at home. The mold in the area heading up to the roof needs addressed. There should not be mold in any home. (The view from the roof was amazing) This house needs some TLC....paint, strip the build up on the floors, something different on the stairs, new living room furniture and an updated dryer. When asked if we would rent this home again, we said no. We were very disappointed that the pictures online are not what it truly is. This house has potential, it just needs the owner to actually do something about it.

Loved it!

I have been going to SGI for 30 years and have rented probably at least a dozen times and Bay Dreamin’ absolutely ranks in my top two favorite places we’ve stayed - and I will definitely stay here again. I’m even a little hesitant to give it a great review because that might mean more people will rent it, making it less available to me when I want to return 😂. The views of the bay are great, and there’s easy public access to the beach within walking distance. The place has been mostly updated (bathrooms, decor). Most of the place has vinyl flooring which felt so clean. Yeah, it could use fresh carpet (where there is carpet) and fresh paint and a few minor updates here and there, but otherwise, everything was really spotless. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to entertain friends one night, and plates and glassware were in great condition. I just can’t brag on it enough. It was a great place to stay and we can’t wait to go back.
