Cottage was fantastic, clean, tidy and everything you could want. Location was perfect with the river and walks and trails. Any query that I had was answered promptly. All in all I would highly recommend and if I get chance to visit the area again this is where I would want to stay.

A beautiful little cottage in an idyllic location , communication with the host was excellent throughout and everything was how it was explained .Clean and tidy inside when we arrived and a great place to stay , there’s a good range of great food places nearby , Like the host says Take Binoculars , lots of wildlife , I took my wildlife camera outfit and got some amazing photos .We were amazed at how good the glazing was at keeping out the river noise in full flood on Saturday from the Fridays day of rain.Great value for money stay in a quiet location!

Riverside Cottage is the most tranquil, gorgeous place I have ever been. The cottage itself contains everything you could ever need. It is immaculate in cleanliness and still retains a homely atmosphere. The surrounding area is breathtaking and walking through the nature trails is idyllic. We really loved our time here and would recommend. Riverside Cottage to anyone.

Beautifully decorated and very well equipped cottage in a superb location for hiking and cycling. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Has lovely outdoor area for parking and seating. Not too far from local amenities. Good base for visiting coastal locations.Host leaves lots of information on the cottage and the local wildlife. One of the best rentals we've had. Great cottage. Great hosts! Highly recommend it.

What a gorgeous getaway in the most stunning location! The cottage is incredibly well-stocked with everything you need (we prepared several meals there), so quiet and close to the most beautiful walks in forests and mountains. We feel utterly refreshed and relaxed after our stay and will definitely be back!

Highly recommended. You must have a vehicle to go farther afield, but it is set in beautiful countryside. The cottage is obviously well maintained and had every convenience. Everything is high quality and the beds are sooo comfy. It is at the heart of some lovely walks, although some of the hills are for the very experienced only. We had a wonderful time and would recommend Riverside Cottage to anyone.

An absolutely beautiful cottage in a quiet location outside Dolgellau. Handy for walking, and bird watching. The cottage is well equipped and sleeps 2 easily.

We had a great stay at the cottage; the location is perfect, and the bird-feeding facilities are a nice touch to get further involved with nature. The kitchen has up-to-date equipment, making life easier; however, cleanliness could be improved. Looking at reviews, I do think our experience could have been a one-off here; however, in some cases, equipment had food on it from previous guests, the dishwasher utensil holder had a small section of mould on it and areas of the house were dusty. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.

The cottage is in a great location for walking and cycling . You can walk or cycle straight onto the old railway line which is the stary of many walks/cycle routes. The cottage is well equiped and we felt very cmfortable there. The weather was good so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the views.

What a gem of a property. Set in a stunning location. Traditional cottage, spotlessly clean with modern touches to add to your comfort. We did cook the majority of the time but visited George III pub one evening which we would definitely recommend.There are lots of birds around, which provided lots of opportunity for my husband to indulge in his photography. We enjoyed a lovely day at the Vale of Rheidol Railway at Aberystwyth and also 2 or 3 of the lovely walks in the area.Andrea is an excellent host, providing so much information and has thought of everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible at Riverside Cottage. We will definitely be returning.

We loved our stay at Riverside Cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed and it has been finished to a very high standard. Unlike a lot of places the appliances are from quality manufacturers such as Samsung (fridge, oven, and dishwasher), AEG (washing machine), and Bosch (gas hob), and the beds are super comfy with crisp white linen on them. Cut off from the (quiet) road also it feels quite alone and it is not overlooked. To cap it off the host was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed for a great stay. That included a list of lovely walks, of various grades, which can be done from/to the cottage, and there is also a nice pub within easy walking distance, which overlooks the estuary (George III Inn). We really relaxed here and just found the whole stay totally perfect

Hidden Gem!

We booked a short stay for our wedding anniversary. When riverside cottage came up as an option we snapped it up. The location is stunning from every angle. The cottage is both traditional with exposed beams and the thick stone walls you would expect but with modern touches for comfort. The babbling river outside and the welcome party of birds each morning added to the relaxing vibe. The horses in the field opposite were the icing on the cake. Lovely touches of chocolate love spoons and prosecco to wish us happy anniversary on arrival - made us welcome from the start.
