The Space:

The living room at Orient House boasts an L-shaped sofa meaning you can cosy up with your loved ones in front of the huge Smart TV and enjoy a night in. The space is also complete with coffee tables and a footstool.



Ideal for socialising, Orient House has an open plan space on the ground floor which includes the kitchen and dining area. With white high shine cabinets and light wooden worktops, the kitchen is both stylish and practical. You’ll have everything you need for a self-catering stay as the kitchen is fully equipped.



The dining area includes a contemporary dining table and black leather chairs. Ideally located by the kitchen, you can easily communicate with the rest of your party as you prepare and serve meals.



Outside you’ll find an enclosed garden area. This generously sized outdoor area includes space for outdoor seats with both grassed and patio areas on offer as well.



Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom is home to a king-size bed and ensuite shower room. Bedroom two also houses a king-size bed, whilst the final bedroom is where you’ll find a single bed. All rooms are complete with storage space for your belongings so you can make yourself right at home.



The family bathroom has a deep bathtub, wash basin and WC for your convenience.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full property.



The keys to Orient House are accessed via a key safe box. Further details will be provided prior to check-in.



Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.



One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Orient House per reservation.

Nestled on the southern bank of the River Tees, Yarm is a picture‑postcard market town where cobbled high streets, handsome Georgian architecture and welcoming pubs set the scene for laid‑back, quintessentially English getaways.



Yarm’s signature cobblestone High Street is lined with immaculately preserved 18th‑century façades, cosy tearooms and independent boutiques. A graceful 15‑arch railway viaduct frames the skyline – a favourite photo spot at golden hour.



Friday brings a bustling outdoor market (dating back to 1207) overflowing with local cheeses, artisan breads and cut flowers. Evenings see a sociable bar scene, from real‑ale micropubs to riverside wine bars.

Getting Around:

In Yarm, stroll the leafy riverside walkway for ducks, swans and reflections of longboats gliding under the 1400s Yarm Bridge. Benches invite lazy afternoons with a book and a pastry from The Bay Horse Bakery.



Yarm Train Station is a short 10-minute walk away from Orient House where there are direct services operating to locations across the UK including Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Leeds, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Northallerton, Redcar, Thirsk, Thornaby-on-Tees and York.



A number of bus routes operate in Yarm offering access to Darlington, Ingleby Barwick and Stockton-on-Tees.
