Spacious, stylish apartment with stunning views of the Sibillini Mountains
Apartment Rotondo is part of Casa Carotondo, a former farmhouse built of local stone. The apartment can sleep up to three people comfortably. It faces south with a wonderful view of the Sibillini mountains. The apartment has its own entrance and outdoor space.
The large private loggia on two sides of the apartment provides you with the ideal al fresco dining venue for those warm summer evenings or an excellent shaded lounging area during the day.
The spacious main living area of apartment Rotondo was a workshop attached to the old farmhouse. It is decorated in a modern style but with high ceilings, chestnut beams, some exposed stonework and a woodburning stove to lend it some character. The room is very light with a window on the north facing wall. French doors open out onto the south facing loggia and glass panels in the main door to the apartment, which faces the west and the fantastic mountain views.
One side of this 35 sqm room is home to the fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, induction hot plates, fridge/freezer, toaster, filter coffee machine and combi microwave/oven/grill. There is also a breakfast bar with two stools. A table and chairs allow you to dine indoors in cool weather with a comfortable sofa for your relaxation after dinner. For your entertainment the apartment also has a TV, a DVD player and sound system. The apartment can be centrally heated in cold weather and for the summer months both rooms are equipped with fans. Apartment Rotondo also has a wireless internet connection.
The bedroom is part of the old farmhouse. It is constructed of sandstone, which has been left exposed on two walls. The floor is laid with cotto tiles. The ceiling is also constructed in the traditional style with chestnut beams and cotto tiles. The furniture in the bedroom is in the Arte Povere style with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror.
