Do Me Good est l'une des plus grandes et des plus spacieuses maisons de Cape Blas. C’est votre escapade parfaite à la plage pour créer des souvenirs de vacances inoubliables avec votre famille et vos amis.

Avec des plages spectaculaires et la rue Joe Bay se trouve à une minute à pied de chez vous. La vie à Do Me Good est aussi agréable que possible. Regardez le soleil sombrer paresseusement au-dessus du golfe du Mexique depuis les grandes terrasses tout en respirant l'air salin alors que vous sentez que vos préoccupations s'éloignent avec la marée.

Un vaste espace ouvert vous accueille avec un plafond de 16 ’et une cheminée en pierre spectaculaire. Un loft avec une lucarne donne sur la grande salle. Cette maison est inondée de lumière naturelle du lever au coucher du soleil!

La cuisine spacieuse est suffisamment grande pour que plusieurs cuisiniers puissent préparer les repas de famille. Deux fours, deux réfrigérateurs (un sur la véranda) et de nombreux placards et comptoirs sont faciles à préparer. Il y a de nombreux sièges dans la salle à manger pour que chacun puisse manger ensemble.

Avec 6 chambres et 4 1/2 salles de bains, cette maison est idéale pour les grandes réunions de famille. Il propose un h��bergement pour 15 personnes maximum, dont deux spacieuses chambres king avec accès aux ponts et vue sur le golfe et Joe Bay. Il y a une troisième chambre king, une chambre queen avec un lit supplémentaire et deux chambres avec des lits jumeaux.

Au large de la grande salle est une grande véranda ensoleillée avec bar, un réfrigérateur, un évier et une table et des chaises pour quatre. Détendez-vous dans l'une des deux grandes chaises papasanes pour lire un livre ou faire une sieste! Au large de la véranda, il y a une grande terrasse ouverte avec une table pour un repas en plein air. Vous pourrez également bronzer et boire un verre au coucher du soleil sur le mobilier du salon.

Les options de divertissement incluent la télévision par câble gratuite, Internet haut débit, le Wi-Fi et le service téléphonique longue distance. Diffusez vos films préférés sur le téléviseur. La plupart des chambres ont une télévision.

Le carport et conduire accueillir six véhicules. Sous la maison se trouve une zone de cuisson, une douche extérieure et une demi-baignoire pour se laver du sable après une journée de divertissement sur la plage.

Great house for a large group.

Eleven of us stayed in the house and had an amazing time. Living area is perfect for a big crowd. Short walk to the beach. The only downside was the small bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds was really hot. We ended up not using this room. A quick switch up sleeping arrangements and we were fine. Overall, we were very pleased.

Do Me Good

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cape was wonderful. We felt like we didn't get the value we expected in the house. The dishwasher was filthy and smelled of rotten shrimp upon our arrival. We pulled the filter and cleaned it, then cleaned the rest of the dishwasher. It was definitely not the way we expected to start our vacation. The oven under the stove didn't work. The control knob on the washing machine was stripped. Ants swarmed in the chimney, and we saw a few roaches upstairs.

Party of 15 staying at Do Me Good 2021

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:1. The size of the house accommodated a group of 15 very well.2. Dealing with Coastal Joes employees in the beginning was great. They communicated well.3. The location of the rental was great.4. Plenty of parking.5. The porches are wonderful!!Cons:1. The house could use a deep clean. The air vents were nasty, there was dust covering the tops of the cabinets and dead ants were found around the fireplace.2. Two bedrooms were missing remotes and that problem was not resolved until day 4 of our stay.3. The washing machine was not hooked up correctly and was not fixed until day 4 of our stay.4. The house was advertised with 2 ovens, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. Unfortunately only 1 worked and we were never told it was not functioning. It took an email and 3 phone calls to find out the problem. We were told they were waiting on a part to come in that case we should have been told before arrival so we could be prepared. This was a major disappointment and failure of communication. 5. The water pressure for bathing was poor. Not even enough to rinse soap out of hair. Many times we used the carport water hose to wash our hair. This problem was mentioned to management but never resolved. 6. Communication with management and getting answers after checking in was poor. Overall....for the money we spent, I was disappointed. We still had a great vacation but the multiple issues added frustration. I personally own and rent a small vacation home in PCB. As an owner, I would not let any renter have to deal with that many problems. I would drive 6 hours to handle the situation myself if I couldn’t get someone there quicker. I would do what I could to make it right.

We do have one suggestion for a house that size that 15 people stay for 5 days generates quite a bit of garbage. That house definitely needs 2 trash cans. On Sunday night before we left the bags were over the top and the lid would not close. During the night something got into the garbage and we had to pick up everything that had been scattered Monday morning before we could leave.

Family vacation at “Do Me Good”

Although we didn’t get into the house until 7p.m. due to no one calling us when housekeeping finished, we were very happy with our week at “Do Me Good”. We had a few minor maintenance issues, but they were taken care of promptly. The large kitchen/family room was awesome for our group of 10, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the layout was great. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach, but glad we took a cart to carry our beach necessities. I suggest Austalian Gold bronzer to keep bugs at bay. Nothing else seemed to work. I would definitely recommend this house for a quiet getaway. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much.

Do Me Good does us good

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Do Me Good is always a pleasure for us to return to, year after year. It is a clean, very well-equipped house. Decor is pleasing, feeling more like home and friends than sterile and impersonal. View is amazing from the sunroom, where we ate most of our meals, looking out over the Gulf, to the decks looking both east to the Bay and west to the Gulf. One can enjoy both sunrises over the Bay and sunsets over the Gulf, always beautiful. Coastal Joe Rental Agency was very responsive to any needs we expressed and very easy to work with. Although there is a great amount of building going on out on the Cape, the neighborhood location for Do Me Good still seems quiet and somewhat set apart from the hectic world. And, of course, the beach!! Too much truck and driving traffic on it, unfortunately, makes walking the beach difficult sometimes, but nevertheless it is an exceptional beach to walk, to swim, to fish, to shell, to enjoy. If you are looking to cook and eat in, the kitchen is a cook’s dream come true, and lots of eating area at extensive counter/bar seating and dining table for 6 or 8.. A gas grill would be a welcome addition for outdoor cooking. You will enjoy your stay in Do Me Good.

Did us good!

We couldn’t figure out how to watch tv (no less than 6 remotes), but it didn’t matter. Beds were fine but need better pillows. Both sliding glass doors had issues, one didn’t open at all and we were told there was no intention of fixing it. But all in all a very positive experience.

Group Beach Getaway

Tons of rooms for cars and trailers. The kitchen was huge! The house was perfect for our large group. The only warning I would give is if you have little kids it’s a bit close to the main road. Our youngest kid there was 6 and he was fine, but if you had younger ones it might be tough.

An incredible house, on the forgotten cape

The house itself is awesome - clean, spacious and welcoming. It is about 100 yards from the most amazing beach, and has everything you would need to enjoy a brilliant holiday, on the gem that is Cape San Blas. I would strongly recommend this to a friend, fully confident that they would have a genuine and overwhelming positive experience. I simply cannot wait to return - Keith.
