We had a wonderful week skiing and snowmobiling with a base camp set up at this lodge-themed townhome. The property was clean and exactly as listed. We look forward to our next vacation in Garden City and the Bear Lake Valley. The views are gorgeous. All you need to do is step out on the porch.
This is now our favorite place to stay! We've been coming to Bear Lake for the past 30 years, and have gone from owning a place to now renting. We downsized when we became empty nesters. This place, "Bear's Den," is beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. We awoke to a spectacular sunrise, while laying in bed and looking out over the lake. The condo was quiet, even though there were over a dozen college student next-door. Management is very responsive, following up quickly on any communication. We love this place and will stay again!
This place was everything we needed and plus some. We loved the view, loved the pool access and being so close to the lake. My child cried when it was time to leave. We really enjoyed our stay and made some good memories.
We were not able to use the decks to sit on and view the lake view that we had. That was so very disappointing
That is exactly wanted we wanted to do in the evenings. Just not right
Our family really enjoyed this condo. The place was much more comfortable and homey compared to others that we have rented in Garden City. We really appreciated having the open kitchen/living area as well as the cozy downstairs family room. Our boys loved playing the retro video games and we had a family foosball play off. We also liked that there was a gas fireplace downstairs to keep it warm.
This place was a perfect location and size for the 4 adults/5 kids that we had staying there. When we contacted the owners before we arrived to ask some questions, we were told there was not a DVD player only VHS. So we rounded up some old VHS movies. We get to the house and there are DVD players everywhere and only one VHS player actually worked. No instructions on how to get any of the electronics to work but that's no big deal. No shampoo and conditioner which was easy to purchase in town but it would have been nice not to have to go buy and then dump as we leave town. Kitchen was stocked okay--no hot pads so we had to get creative when we cooked.
We did have an incident one morning after we were done with our dutch ovens. We left the coals in a coal pan to cool off outside on the front patio. Next thing we now, the cleaning staff had knocked everything off the cement patio onto the grass by it starting a small fire in the grass and burning holes through my husbands nice gloves. They never came and told us but we heard the clanging and came running out. Owners tried to make it right but no where in town can you replace the gloves to again we had to get creative.
Overall though I would stay here again. It was clean, beautiful views, nice size, pool was fun, as were the other games/sports they had available for us to use. It would just be nice to have correct info before coming to the home and know exactly what we need to bring from home.
quiet and restful, ample room and lovely furnishings courteous and helpful

The condo was great with a fabulous view! Our family loved it!
Our family loved the whole experience!! Many great memories were made here at the condo and the lake. We definitely will be back again!! Thanks so much!
Condo had beautiful views and lots of room for everyone.
Concerns: both decks had lose boards that made the deck feel very unstable to stand on.
Frustrated that ice maker and fridge water dispenser were not working. Someone did come and look at it and tell us they had to order a part. Kitchen supplies were in rough shape- bowls did not have matching lids, pans were all super scratched up. Only enough soap supplies for one load of laundry and dryer did not work- took four cycles to dry one load. Cleanliness of unit not great- food on ceiling in kitchen, some of pillows had stains on them when we took off the bedding.
Air conditioning: Basement super cool but top level super warm and only one fan available to try and cool the top floor.
This property is managed by Bear Lake Lodging, a locally owned and operated business. It is a quaint small town with a 56 mile circumference lake. We love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, Raspberry Days, Mammoth Marathon, jet skiing, ATV riding, etc. that Bear Lake has to offer. We hope you enjoy your stay at beautiful Bear Lake!
This has tons of amenities like outdoor heated seasonal pool, tennis courts, basketball court, walking trails, walking distance to the Marina, Close to restaurants and shops.
