I love this place. The direct access to the beautiful ocean cannot be beat, especiallyat sunrise. There is plenty of room to comfortably hang out. It just has a lovely, low-key, relaxing vibe. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time! The villa has perfect for us. They have a raised, private beach with huts and plenty of reclining and regular chairs. The pool was awesome. They will collect your trash every weekday morning and also change out your towels. Very quiet and private. We would definitely stay here again!

This is hands down a perfect villa. Location is ideal. Perfect size. Right on the beach. Quiet, clean, everything you need at your finger tips. The quietness of the beach is amazing. No need to worry about the public crowding you. Planning to rebook for next year!!

Great place for a small family getaway. We loved the proximity from the cottage to the beach amenities provided. No crowds, nice, quiet location, easy access to beach and the pool. Would love to return once beach reclamation project is complete.

Wonderful vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful two week vacation at Royal Flamingo Villas. The beach and pool are both beautiful, as is the Villa in which we stayed. We will be back!

Loved our stay!

Property had beautiful tropical landscaping & very well kept up. Beautiful pool area, nicely maintained. The villa was close to beach with good views from this one. Easy beach access with solitary beach. Would love to return!

Absolutely gorgeous

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Booking and check in were easy. Owner was very prompt to respond, no issues while we were there. The beach was beautiful and peaceful, very private. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

We have been coming to Deerfield for 40 years. This is by far the best place we have stayed!! Everything you could want!! Pool and beach just steps out your front door. All the amenities you need. Close to restaurants and shopping!! We will be back!!

An amazing 50th birthday celebration

If you are looking to come to Florida, and enjoy the serenity of the ocean, the sound of the waves lapping the beach, this is the spot. The beach is right in front of you and you also have cabanas on the upper beach that provide shade, and beautiful views of the ocean. There are chairs, sunsets and beautiful vibes to be had at this property. The Villa was amazing. All of the beds are excellent and you can get a good nights rest. The villa includes everything that you need to have a wonderful vacation. If you were looking for paradise look no further. I will stay here again. I’ve been home two hours and I already miss this beautiful place.

Very nice place right on the ocean

this was a very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath. excellent view of the ocean. we had 4 adults, but the listing said it would sleep 6. there were not sofa sleeper, so don't understand wee you would put 2 more people. excellent place.

Great location!

Very nice location - close to Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach and Delray allows for you to visit multiple hot spots. The private beach is such a great bonus. The entire villa is very quiet and we had no problem getting seats at the pool or beach. Sometimes we were the only ones at the pool! Beds are definitely on the firmer side but it’s nothing that would keep us from going back next year. We loved our stay and enjoyed the royal flamingo!

Great for family gathering

Two of my nephews with their family also rented here all us had a great time but there are two things that I have to mention door locks did not work correctly and also toilets were too low my sisters and I are elderly and it was difficult. All and all I give the property 5 stars, thinking of renting again for next year.

Great Location!

We absolutely loved the location of Villa D , as you are at the ocean. No road to cross just step out and enjoy. The views from the rooms are amazing as well. If you care about location then this place has it. My only warning is if you have trouble with stairs there are stairs down to the ocean. Not a lot but it could be an issue for someone so just letting you know. We were also steps from the pool which was awesome and heated and perfect. The place is small but was all we needed. The night we arrived there was a small issue with housecleaning but it was fixed first thing the next day because there is an onsight property manager. The beach was amazing and so private. Felt like our own oasis. Everywhere around here are small properties so it’s not crowded at all. Sadly we were there with a pretty choppy ocean, and lots of pollution and trash ended up on the beach. Each morning crews came to clean but sad to see the ocean so polluted- not the fault of this property but I am not sure if this always a problem here or if we just had bad luck in timing. Our only complaint about the property itself was no curtains. In the master bedroom it is never dark, ever. Each villa has front lights and the women behind us kept them on all the time and our bedroom was bright in the dead of night. Even without that the way the property is lit you really need curtains. If I come again I would have to bring something to cover the windows. It is such a great place and we loved every part of it, but please get some curtains in the bedrooms. Overall we loved it and would return!

Heidi, I'm happy you gave villa D five stars, thank you! I was surprised that the beach was not pristine as it usually is, once in awhile a storm will kick up seaweed but the beach cleaning is provided regularly by the township of Hillsboro beach. They know the importance of keeping the ocean and the beaches clean. I will check the blinds throughout the villa to be sure they are working properly, I have not had any guest say the room wasn't dark enough, I'll make sure to check it out. Beach Perfect!

My husband and I spent a wonderful 3 weeks in Villa D, our first time to this part of FL. Villa D is one of several clustered together on the beach side of Rte. A1A. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Royal Flamingoes resort also includes properties on the Intercoastal Waterway- a pleasant area to stroll through to view the sunset. Villa D couldn't have been better located for our needs - it's only steps away from either the beach or heated pool. The resort was developed in the 1970s and, as far as we could tell, quite unique compared to the surrounding hotels & mid-rise condos. The beach is two-tiered w/ the upper level perfect for lounging under a series of large sun screens that may be positioned for either sun or shade (these are spaced well apart for privacy and healthy social-distancing during covid). The lower (i.e., natural beach) is reached from the upper beach by a single flight of steps. Because the resort is much less dense than surrounding development, it has an uncrowded, exclusive yet very welcoming feel. The homes are modest in size -- we found Villa D to be perfect for our stay given that it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, affording a little extra space for a lengthy stay (or for children/grand-children). Kitchen appliances worked well and the sofas brand new. We would definitely rent Villa D again. It was very clean upon our arrival and the owner highly responsive throughout the rental process as well as during our stay. Because of covid, housekeeping services are necessarily restricted. However, used towels may be exchanged for fresh ones on the villa's patio every day from M-F. Trash is also collected outside each villa (M-Sat). The resort property overall is well-maintained. Villa D has the added advantage of a clothes washer/dryer. Mail is collected daily from the resort office & a bbq grill may be requested there as well (delivered to your door). Parking is convenient. For beach homes, it's a row of reserved spaces situated directly off Rte. A1A (only a few steps to each villa). Guest parking is also available. Publix & Whole Foods are short drives away. We love nature and were delighted with numerous opportunities to view fascinating FL wildlife and scenery; easy day-trips included: Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Green Cay, Everglades (via airboat), Morakami, and Flamingo Gardens. We hope to return!

Couldn't ask for a better location

I loved every minute of staying at the Condo. Quiet, private location. But only minutes to Deerfield and Pompano. The condo was just as advertised and clean! Would definitely stay again if given the chance!

Villa on the ocean

This villa is a wonderful property. It is on the water! The full kitchen is nice to have as well. Property management staff was very helpful. We will certainly be back.
