First, communication by the host was poor. We had to ask several times for the check-in information. When we were finally contacted, it was within an hour of check-in time to inform us that the elevator in the building was out of order. We were grateful when another property was offered to us. The refrigerator did not work in the alternate apartment, so the host agreed to switch us to another apartment the next day. We were told that the new (3rd) apartment would be available at 1 pm the next day, so we had planned to move our belongings to the new apartment after we were done with our planned sightseeing tours. The next communication we received was during one of our tours instructing us that we needed to move out so the cleaners could clean. We told the host that we were out for the day so we'd move after our tours. Another message followed instructing us that he would like to move our belongings so the cleaners could finish. Our reply was "absolutely not", at which time he responded "no worries". To our surprise, when we returned to the apartment around 3 pm, the cleaners had already moved our belongings to the new apartment (in the same building). The furnishings in both apartments were not ample enough to accommodate the number of maximum capacity per the listing. For example, there weren't 4 of anything in the kitchen, no kitchen towels/dishcloths, no hot pads, etc. The final apartment was significantly smaller with one less bathroom than what we paid for.
