Neighborhood
The nearest beach in Kalamaki is just 1,6 km away, about 20 minutes walk. It is centrally located in the southern suburbs of Athens, in a location where four buses pass by, two of which are bound for the centre of Athens, and the other two are bound for the centre of Piraeus. The buses, numbers 217 and 229, arrive at Daphne Station in about 25 minutes, if you take them from the nearest bus stop to the apartment. Then, from there, the red metro line runs directly to the centre of Athens. It takes 8 minutes to the Acropolis metro station and 10 minutes to the Syntagma metro station.
Nearby also, there are shops, cafes, bakeries, souvlaki, restaurants with Greek and foreign cuisine, grocery store and super market that are open even on Sundays until 11.00 pm.
Every Friday at 120m away, there is a farmers' market where you can find fresh fish, fruits and vegetables from local producers.
Children will love this house because just a few metres away there is a square with a playground, as well as another park with a playground.
