Casa Sonarich is a wonderful, fully restored holiday home dating back to 1735. The holiday home can accommodate up to 20(+4) guests, and has everything that a holiday needs including a large swimmingpool, a huge garden and the perfect location within walking distance to a charming lake-town. The green and private surroundings of Casa Sonarich, makes the house the perfect place for relaxation. We can assure you that you will enjoy a Catalan holiday at this gem of a holiday home!

Casa Sonarich is located in a stunning area, and we imagine that you will enjoy the peaceful environment and natural surroundings. The large private garden gives you plenty of opportunities, whether it be reading a book in the shade, or playing a football game with the active members of the group. The swimming pool will probably also be a popular spot during your holiday! It is fenced for the safety of children, so you can easily relax as a family with young children.

The house features a beautiful BBQ area and 3 lovely terraces, so you can enjoy cooking and eating outdoor meals during the warm Catalan summer.

The house has 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The house is divided into 3 parts, providing your group with plenty of space for privacy. The two smallest sections are situated on ground floor and have direct access to the garden. One section has 2 double rooms and a common room with a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. The other section has 3 double rooms and a common room with a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms.

One half of the first floor functions as a large common room with an open kitchen and plenty of space, allowing the entire group to dine together. There is also a cozy sofa corner with a television and a DVD-player. The house also has WI-FI. From this area, an outdoor stairway gives you direct access to the covered terrace with the barbecue area. In the other part of the first floor, you will find 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 of them double rooms and 2 of them triple rooms. There are 4 bathrooms in total on this floor.

Even though Casa Sonarich is located far away from mass-trourism, it is within walking distance to the lively town of Banyoles. Just 800 meters away from the house you will find the gorgeous Banyoles lake. If you continue to walk along the lake, you will reach a cosy little beach, where you can swim in the lake, and a bit further down you will find the floating café. If you walk 4 kilometers in the other direction, you will find the lively town Banyoles. It has a spectacular antique town centre, and the main square is has cozy cafés and is a great place to spend an evening.

If you are interested in taking day trips, you can also visit the The Garrotxa natural Park (roughly 15 kilometers away) or you can visit beautiful Girona (also known as Barcelona's little sister) which is around 20 km. away. There are so many great activities to do in Catalonia, whether it be river rafting, bicycling or visiting wonderful restaurants and winerys.
