Piddlebrook is a delightful self contained flat in the village of Inkberrow.
Piddlebrook is a well equipped comfortable flat with a lovely view into the countryside and pond with busy birdlife. Within walking distance of the two village pubs, church and very well stocked village shop.
It does adjoin the main house which is let separately.
The garden is large and shared with the main house.
There is parking at the flat under the cherry tree and also on the street. The parking is shared with the main house.
The Old Bull pub is considered to be the inspiration of the Bull in the famous Archers radio program.
There are some lovely walks from the village in all directions.
Stratford upon Avon, is about half an house drive, as is the cathedral City of Worcester
We stayed at Piddlebrook for over 3 weeks with our dog and we have greatly enjoyed our time here. The garden, although advertised as shared with the adjacent larger house, is large enough for everyone to have privacy whilst enjoying the outdoor space. The surroundings are quiet and there are nice walks around the property and the village (Inkberrow), our 16y/o dog and us have enjoyed the daily evening walk after dinner. The owners (and their family) are great hosts, it's been a pleasure having a few conversations with them during our time here.Inside, the flat is perfectly furnished with everything that is needed for a long stay: kitchen utensils, glassware, etc. The space is very well organised and even if it looks small on the photos, it felt just perfect for the 2 of us and our pets. Overall, a fantastic find for us. If we were ever in the area again, we would definitely stay again.
The flat is a small but perfectly distributed space, with an incredibly large shared garden. It is equipped with everything we needed for our stay, from bed linen to kitchen utensils, it has all what's needed for a comfortable long-term stay. The flat is next to a larger house with which the garden is shared, but even when guests are staying in the larger house the flat is comfortable and private. The bed is comfortable and the internet is good. Although we didn't have phone signal, we didn't miss it since out in the garden you can get signal. George and his family, who administer the property, are lovely people and very attentive to anything that's needed. We have extended our stay a couple times and every time the communication was easy and quick. We've even got squash and spinach from their vegetable patch! Extremely welcoming hosts!Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, we and our two pets have been so comfortable in this space, it is highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice space in proximity to Worcester, The Malverns, The Chilterns and Birmingham.
