Welcome to Meadow View Cottage. Our stunning holiday cottage is in the charming Victorian coastal town of Saltburn By The Sea with a mini spa including a hot tub. Our cosy cottage is home-from-home and is the perfect choice for those looking for a relaxing retreat with their furry companions, a romantic weekend away or a break with your friendship group.

As you approach Skelton Village, you will immediately be struck by its quaint architecture and traditional village feel, with an array of shops, pubs and eateries all providing a warm Cleveland welcome; you’ll be spoilt for choice. On arrival at Meadow View, you will see the picturesque and idyllic location we are situated in, set in and amongst the meadows and with distant views over the sea, this cottage can’t be beaten on its outdoor space.

Whether basking in the sun or star gazing, we can assure you that you’ll be impressed with our raised decked area where you can relax and entertain. If you are lucky enough, you may even catch a glimpse of the stunning barn owls that share the area.

Meadow View is set in a rural location but is equally in easy reach of local attractions such as the stunning Saltburn Pier, the sandy dunes of Saltburn Beach and the tranquil Saltburn Valley Gardens. Our vast sandy beach spans from Saltburn, through Marske and on to Redcar and can be accessed with a 6-minute drive from the cottage or a 40-minute woodland walk along the Cleveland Way. The beach is doggie-friendly after the Pier, so everyone can enjoy it.

The cottage itself is a beautifully restored property dating back before the 1800s, offering a unique blend of traditional charm and modern luxury. We love the fact you can walk from the cottage and, within minutes, be surrounded by fields and woodland with many walks to be enjoyed with your furry friends. The Famous Cleveland Way Trail passes the cottage and leads down to Saltburn, where you will find a traditional Victorian seaside town with a selection of shops, bars, cafes and colourful beach huts available to hire.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a cosy, inviting living space. The lounge features a range of wooden units in keeping with the traditional style of the cottage, comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a large dining area for your party to enjoy spending time together while making those precious memories. Our kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to share their culinary delights, or you can order food from next door at Café Creations and let them do the hard work for you.

Our dining area is the perfect space for entertaining, whether that be sharing a meal or enjoying our collection of board games with something for the whole family. Our large luxury dining table comfortably seats 8 guests, so whatever the occasion, Meadowview has it all. You will also find that our accessible modern family bathroom and rainfall shower are on the ground floor.

The cottage boasts three beautifully presented bedrooms, two offering the choice of a comfortable large twin or super king bed, the other a cosy double. Each bedroom is fully equipped with bedside lamp tables and Smart TVs, as well as modern open wardrobes providing ample storage space. For your comfort and convenience, we have also added a luxury cloak and shower room on the first floor which is accessible from all bedrooms.

The highlight of the cottage has to be our mini spa. Leading from the courtyard, you will find our tranquil haven, with a hot tub and infrared sauna for ultimate relaxation. You can soak the world away in the indoor hot tub, which is amazing, whatever the weather or unwind in the sauna, resting those weary legs after a day of exploring the local area or walking with your pooches.

We have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, including free Wi-Fi, a washing machine & dishwasher, and an ice maker, so you are all prepared for those cocktails. It’s the attention to detail that sets this cottage apart. From the fresh flowers on arrival to the complimentary dog treats for your furry companions, Meadowview has those finishing touches that make you smile.
Welcome well behaved dogs at Meadow View – All they ask is that you bring your own doggie beds to keep our furniture in tip top condition & please dont forget to clean up any doggie mess.

Doggie bowls are provided !!

If your dogs like to sit on the furniture please bring your own bedding and throws. A warm Doggie shower is available outside so you can clean your pooch after the beach or muddy walk so just pack your doggies towels.

You may find we leave a treat or two for our furry friends but we do ask that Doggies are not left in the cottage or garden unaccompanied unless crated.
