Cutter Cottage - Central Cottage steps from beach
This central holiday cottage benefits from many characterful features, with wooden sash windows and hard wood floors throughout. The cottage is set over two floors, with outdoor access from both the ground and first floors. The ground floor is open plan and well thought out, with a fitted kitchen, along with a breakfast bar and stools for a quick breakfast on the go. There is also a dining table to seat four guests and a front door which can open out on to the street. Upstairs, are two bedrooms and the family bathroom along with a door out to the sun terrace. Cutter Cottage offers an ideal base for a family, or a couple looking for a seaside break in the Victorian seaside town of Swanage, it lies within easy reach of so many things to do right on the doorstep. Spend a day at the beach, enjoy a fish and chip supper or even venture out on a boat trip to the nearby Old Harry Rocks - you are spoilt for choice!
Open plan kitchen/living area
Kitchen: Shaker style cottage kitchen, with wood worktops, ceramic sink and tiled floors. Appliances include; Dishwasher, four ring gas hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and utility cupboard which houses the fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Living/Dining Area: Smart TV, comfortable seating for 4 plus dining table, selection of books and games, wooden floors, sash window and freestanding wood burner style electric fire.
2 Bedrooms: 1) King Size bed, wooden floors, built in wardrobe, wall mounted Smart TV and sash window 2) Twin room with a pair of single beds, that can be joined together (to make another King size bed on request), sash window and drawer unit.
Bathroom: Tiled bathroom with 'P' shape bath, and shower overhead, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and W.C.
Outside: There is an outdoor seating area, with potted plants, a table and four chairs, ideal for an alfresco supper in the summer months. The seating area is in a shared terrace, which overlooks the neighbouring parking area. Access to the property is via the terrace, via steps up to the property.

Guest Provisions: Bedding and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels. We supply a welcome pack of basic guest supplies to get your holiday started, including toilet roll, hand soap, toiletries, cleaning kit and washing up liquid.

Garage: The cottage benefits from a garage which can be used to store bikes and paddle boards, and it can be used for parking small cars only (Mini, Honda Jazz, Fiat 500, Ford Fiesta). Cars using the garage must be fully parked in the garage, with the garage door closed. The garage dimensions are; Height; 180cm, Width, 210cm, Length, 450cm
Parking; On street parking can be found in nearby residential streets, or in the nearby metered car parks. Please visit 'Swanage.gov.uk' for more parking information.
The Area
Swanage is a picturesque seaside town on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, known for its sandy beach, Victorian charm, and stunning coastal scenery along the Jurassic Coast. The town offers a mix of outdoor activities, including water sports, hiking in Durlston Country Park, and exploring nearby historical sites like Corfe Castle. In addition to Littlebird's biscuits and milk we provide basic toiletries (shampoo, Conditioner, body lotion and Shower gel) we also provide a bottle of wine and a Cleaning kit box. Each guest gets one cleaning box. The box contains, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, J-cloth, bin bag and scourer

Coming into Swanage from the Wareham direction, go past the schools on your left hand side follow the road along keeping to the left on the bend. Carry on and go over the hump back bridge, keep on this road straight until you come to the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights into Rempstone Road, at the mini roundabout go left (this enters you into the one way system) carry along follow the road round to the right (past Boots) at the fork in the road, take the left hand fork onto Lower High Street (towards the Pier,this now becomes two way traffic again). Just as you go left there is a turing on your right into Taunton Road, (this is between The Ship pub and Country Corner shop), the property is located a few yards up on the left hand side. To access the garage go beyond the cottage, go left then left again into the garage area.
Parking for this property is nearby unrestricted roadside parking on a first come first served basis, please ensure to read the notices as some roads have restricted times between 15th May - 30th September. If you have a very small car, like a Fiat 500 or a Mini this can be parked in the garage if you wish to use it, however the car must be able to go right into the garage and the garage door be closed. Parking in front of the garage is not permitted.
