Nestled in the serene and tranquil wooded area of the village of Prazeres, and yet only a few hundred metres from the church and facilities, this very spacious 2-bedroom apartment is set in the first floor of a traditional Madeira-style house, and boasts a large front terrace with great views over the surrounding countryside.
The spacious terrace is a highlight, offering a perfect spot to unwind with sun beds for enjoying the balmy weather of Prazeres. It´s equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and for dining alfresco, prepared on the portable barbecue.
Access is via a set of outdoor steps, and upon entering the apartment, you are welcomed into a very spacious open-plan living area, thoughtfully designed to combine comfort and functionality. For those requiring to work from home, a working area with a large desk and two chairs and plenty of shelving, perfect for remote work or planning your visits. A large, enveloping comfortable sofa invites you to relax, while the air conditioning ensures a pleasant atmosphere year-round. Adjacent to the living space is a dining area, ideal for enjoying meals prepared in the fully equipped console kitchen.
Off the living area are the master bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom with two single beds are complemented by a family bathroom.

The nearest facilities are a restaurant and a café only 400m away from the apartment. The nearest mini market is 1.1 km away. There are some additional country mini-markets bars and snack-bars in the surrounding countryside areas, easily accessible by car.
Prazeres offers the perfect mix of weather and countryside; many walks are available in the surrounding countryside and there is direct road access to the Paul da Serra plateau.
The resort of Calheta with its man-made beach, branded supermarket and more cafés and restaurants, is 8Km away, easily accessed via the expressway in 10 minutes driving time.
Funchal is an easy 50-minute drive via expressway and motorway, and the airport a further 10 minute drive.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. Supplements apply when additional people occupy the apartment. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 150€, payable in cash upon arrival.
The minimum stay is 03 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent 7 days before your arrival.
The entrance code will be sent 3 days before your arrival. Check-in is at 16H00 or later.
Check-out is at 10H00.

A tourist tax is payable by all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

Brand new and well equipped appartment. Clean.Two spacious bedrooms.Very friendly service by agent.However, appartment can be noisy with other people staying on the groundfloor.

Unterkunft mit ungenutztem Potential

Unterkunft ist sauber und mit nötigstem ausgestattet, hätte Potential zu einem bisschen mehr Gemütlichkeit. So wirkt leider alles etwas lieblos: Terrassenmöbel an die Seite geschoben, keine Pflanzen, Grill ist schon sehr verrostet. Das Meer kann man nicht sehen, die große Straße ist zu hören. Schlafzimmer und Wohn-/Essbereich haben jeweils nur ein kleines Fenster wodurch die Räume sehr dunkel wirken. Im Wohnbereich gibt es nur eine Deckenlampe mit sehr kühlem Licht. Der Arbeitsbereich, die Küchenzeile, die Sofaecke und auch der Küchentisch sind dadurch nur spärlich bis gar nicht beleuchtet. Die Nachttischlampen wären auch mit wârmeren Lampen gemütlicher. Der Kühlschrank bietet für zwei Personen genug Platz, es gibt einen Toaster, einen Wasserkocher und eine Pad-Kaffeemaschine. Zum Kochen fehlen eine große Pfanne, scharfe Messer und richtige Schneidebretter sowie Schälchen für Müsli und/oder Salat. Grundausstattung an Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl wären schön gewesen. Das Bett ist statt 140 nur 120cm breit. Der Hahn der Nachbarn hat uns wirklich jede Nacht wachgehalten, da er durchgehend und nicht nur morgens kräht.Beim Checkout mussten wir auf die Gastgeberin warten, anstatt den Schlüssel einfach wieder in die Schlüsselbox zu legen. Auch fanden wir die Checkout-Zeit von 10 Uhr sehr früh.

As for the sea view, the apartment does not advertise having one, and this is also clear from the location shown on the listing, as well as the proximity to the main road. Regarding basic kitchen items such as salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar, we choose not to leave these behind due to the risk of cross-contamination between guests. The check-out time is clearly stated in the listing, and the in-person check-out is required due to the return of the security deposit. That said, we truly value your suggestions and will take them into account as we continue working to improve the guest experience. Thank you once again for staying with us.
