'Casa do Gabriel' spacieuse villa madérienne avec jardin privé et vue sur l'océan

La Casa do Gabriel est située dans un village rural calme du hameau d'Estreito da Calheta, sur la côte sud-ouest de la magnifique île subtropicale de Madère.

La maison est située à 40 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport et se trouve dans un endroit calme, privé et isolé avec des vues panoramiques spectaculaires du sud-ouest sur l'océan Atlantique avec les belles montagnes derrière.

La maison a un niveau et comprend deux chambres doubles, deux salles de bains (une avec baignoire et la seconde est équipée d'une cabine de douche), un salon, un coin repas et une cuisine. La cuisine est lumineuse, spacieuse et bien équipée avec tous les appareils nécessaires pour cuisiner. Il y a une buanderie séparée avec laveuse, congélateur, évier, fer et planche à repasser.

Pour votre confort, la propriété est équipée de toutes les fonctionnalités habituelles, comme le linge de lit et les serviettes, une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un téléphone fixe, une collection de films DVD, une télévision (135 chaînes en anglais, portugais, espagnol, allemand, français et russe), lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, chaises longues, table de ping-pong, etc.

Il y a une terrasse à l'étage avec le lit flottant (balançoire) et une vue imprenable sur l'océan.

Un patio autour de la maison donne sur un jardin privé avec des sentiers pédestres. Dans le jardin, vous trouverez l'avocatier, l'oranger et la goyave ainsi que de nombreuses fleurs et arbustes exotiques. Les fruits sont disponibles pour nos clients en saison. Un patio privé inférieur dans le jardin est entouré d'arbustes à fleurs et de buissons selon la saison avec une vue sur l'océan bleu.
La maison surplombe une gorge profonde avec une variété d'oiseaux volant autour, y compris des buses et des cerfs-volants. Jumelles disponibles pour observer les oiseaux.

La seule plage de sable de l'île est à Calheta et à 5 minutes en voiture de la maison ainsi que du supermarché Pingo Doce, ATM, marina avec beaucoup de restaurants. Des excursions d'observation des dauphins et des baleines et de pêche en haute mer sont disponibles à partir de là. Les levadas (canaux d'irrigation), les promenades en montagne de Rabaçal et Prazeres sont tous à une courte distance en voiture.

La propriété est accessible en fauteuil roulant.
La maison est enregistrée et agréée par la municipalité locale de Calheta pour une utilisation locale de l'hébergement (AL – Alojamento local n ° 168).

Dormir normalement quatre personnes dans deux chambres doubles. La cinquième personne pourrait dormir dans le canapé-lit du salon si nécessaire.

The house was spacious, clean, with a tremendous view. We enjoyed the full kitchen and cooked great meals at home. It's located in quiet Calheta just down the street from a delightful tiki bar. It's a quiet slice of paradise.

We had a great week in Irina’s house. We were welcomed personally and Irina had prepared some food and wine as welcome gift. The house was perfectly equipped and we enjoyed nice and warm afternoons at the terrace with spectacular views.

Beautiful garden getaway

I stayed at Casa do Gabriel for 8 days and loved every moment I spent on the secluded terrace, sipping wine, taking in the unlimited ocean views, surrounded by hibiscus and frangipani flowers. The house was spotlessly clean and Irina was a very responsive host. It was a great location for hiking and water access, and a world away from the tourist frenzy in Funchal. Highly recommend!

Very nice house

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has a quiet location with a broad wonderful sea view and wonderful garden, no disturbing traffic noises. Wonderful Casa

Wonderfull quite Casa, with carefully decorated and comfy rooms, a fully equiped kitchen as well as a very nice terrace to sit on in the mornings and evenings (we hiked throughout the day). Host is very friendly, responded quickly to any inquerry and as a bonus provided a sortiment of refreshments to help us with the first evening and morning. We definatley consider a second visit!

Madeira holiday

We stayed for the first time on Madeira in Casa do Gabriel. We had a fantastic time. Madeira is beautiful with one week not being near enough to explore and do all the things Madeira offers. Our choice of Casa do Gabriel to stay in was an inspired choice. The house is fabulous, well equipped, comfortable, well located, private, clean, lovely hostess, fab garden with fruit we were allowed to pick! We loved everything about our accommodation and our stay in Madeira.

Everything you need

The holiday home had everything you need. It is very spacious and clean. It is also very well equipped with kitchen utensils and everyday items. It is located in a quiet area. The hostess came by on the first day to show us everything and even gave us a welcome basket of food. I would book this cottage again.

What A Wonderful Place!

After following probably the best directions we've ever come across, we arrived at Casa do Gabriel and is everything and more that it claimed to be. The location is simply beautiful and the views from the rooftop were simply amazing. We had everything we needed and our hosts' recommendations, maps, etc. were extremely helpful. Disappointing

There were many things that were good about this property but some things let it down. The ping pong table was broken ( owner apologised & said she'd forgotten to mention it) we could not get into the garage, front door lock was broken, staining on pillow & bed cover in second bedroom ( owner apologised, said it was an oversight by the cleaners!) No hair dryer, upstairs seating area, swing was not clean. There is a photo on the web page showing a sun lounger but this area is now overgrown! However, we loved the island, had a fabulous tour with Hit The Road Tours, highly recommended. We had hired a car & saw what this beautiful island has to offer. We shall return but not to this property...

Glad it was the last leg of our Portugal Trip.

We spent 3 weeks in Portugal - Lisbon, Sintra, Coimbra, Porto and then finished our trip in Madeira - best decision EVER. We were really busy on the mainland - what we call 'travelling': seeing sites, busy crowds, larger cities - busy days and nights. We flew out for the last 6 days of our trip and this was our 'Vacation'. Fantastic and beautiful location. The moment we walked in we pulled back the drapes and opened the windows - and didn't close them until we left. The view to the ocean was spectacular and so very, very peaceful. I spent three solid days on the patio reading and relaxing and many times just sitting in peace, watching the birds, butterflies, honey bees and lizards do their thing. The garden is beautiful with many different flowers - the angel bells were my favorite and smelled incredible. The house was clean and had the basics that we needed. We found a mercado and stocked up on simple foods - cheese, jamon, sparkling water, and other snacks - it was all we needed. The owners were very responsive and gracious. We were able to catch up on laundry and had racks to easily dry them outside. Coffee pot, microwave, fridge, stove, dishes and cutlery - everything we needed. They left a nice basket with wine, bread, jam and other goodies. We live in California and if we come back, will again spend a long week on Madeira - the island is beautiful - tropical and reminded us of Hawaii but much quieter. The houses are built into the side of the mountain so was hard to find one without a view . The folks there were gracious and helpful. We found out the island has 420 tunnels! Our ride from the airport was 50 minutes and were told before the tunnels were built it would take over 3 hours. We knew there were many beautiful locations and historical sites to check out but this leg we were ready to just decompress. If you're coming don't let the 50 minute drive to the location deter you - you'll be very glad you came out this far and it was super easy to rent a car. Thanks to Irina for a wonderful stay. PS - they had a fascinating library, dvd's and cd's and I read a few of her books while there.

Très bon séjour chez Irina ! Nous avons apprécié le calme et la vue imprenable sur l'ocean ! Merci Irina pour la qualité de votre accueil . Les produits mis à notre disposition pour grignoter furent bienvenus pour ne pas avoir à se soucier de cela dès notre arrivée. Nous avons apprécié la propreté de la maison, son confort et tous les équipements mis à notre disposition. La vue mer et le calme étaient un bonheur à chaque instant de la journée. Une amélioration possible ? Une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir après les randonnées et ce serait parfait;-) Pour cette location, il nous paraît nécessaire d' être équipé d un véhicule.
