The wonderful Cumbrian countryside is just waiting to be explored from the historical site of Hadrian’s wall with its rich history and dramatic landscape, to the majestic mountains and lakes of the Lake District National Park. A short drive will take you over the border to Scotland where you can drive along the stunning Solway Coast. Beach 21 miles. Pub and restaurant 15 yards.
